Allianz Stadium in Turin becomes vaccination center Image: Juventus Turin

J|Medical is another bright spot on the list of vaccination hubs in Turin (Italy) in the fight against COVID-19 which not very long back had the country in its fatal grip taking a huge toll on lives.

‘Juventus Turin’ stated recently that the multispecialist center – which sits in the East wing of the Allianz Stadium – will be made available to the Azienda Sanitaria Locale (ASL) of Turin for the administration of COVID-19 vaccines and 15 nurses in the center will ensure that 100 people get a shot in their arms per day.

J|Medical is a medical center based on a state-of-the-art healthcare model offering a wide range of services, from diagnosis to specialist medical treatment, rehabilitation and sports medicine. The center aims to make patients feel at home while accompanying them on a holistic path of prevention and treatment. J|Medical was devised by Juventus and Hexperience Medical Division S.r.l., bringing together the medical expertise of Italy’s biggest football club and the experience of one of the country’s leading healthcare operators in an innovative, first-rate set-up.

The ASL (Azienda Sanitaria Locale – Local Health Unit) is the center of administrative operations related to public healthcare in Italy under the National Healthcare Service (SSN – Servizio Sanitario Nazionale).

The 41,507-capacity Juventus Stadium, known for sponsorship reasons as the Allianz Stadium since July 2017, is an all-seater football stadium in the Vallette borough of Turin, Italy, and the home of Juventus F.C.

Juventus Football Club, colloquially known as Juventus and Juve, is a professional football club based in Turin, Piedmont, Italy, that competes in Serie A, the top flight of Italian football.

‘Juventus Turin’ further stated that the daily timetable in which residents will be able to receive their vaccination, obviously according to the rules laid down by ASL, will be from 9 am to 3 pm.

The inauguration of the J|Medical center in Allianz Stadium took place on June 7th in the presence of the Regional Councilor for Applied COVID Research, Matteo Marnati, Dr. Maria Carla Cestari of the Turin ASL, the Director General of Candiolo Institute, Antonino Sottile, J|Medical General, Dr. Luca Stefanini, and Luca Semperboni, the Health Director.

Commented Dr. Luca Stefanini, “We have joined the ASL City of Turin’s vaccination plan by making our center available to help provide this important service to the population, above all, at a time when it is essential to proceed with mass vaccination as a shield against the fatal respiratory disease.”
