The Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, is turning up the volume in 2026 with the launch of ‘The Pulse by Coca-Cola’, a premium open deck viewing space set to redefine the matchday experience.

‘MARVEL STADIUM’ stated that a high-energy, social-first party zone, ‘The Pulse by Coca-Cola’ is the perfect place for the fans looking to elevate their game day with a great view, premium hospitality and live entertainment.

The 56,347-capacity Docklands Stadium, known by naming rights sponsorship as the Marvel Stadium, is a multipurpose sports and entertainment stadium in the suburb of Docklands in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Construction started in October 1997 and was completed in 2000 at a cost of A$460 million ($930 million in 2023 terms). The stadium features a retractable roof and the ground level seating can be converted from oval to rectangular configuration.

‘MARVEL STADIUM’ further stated that located under the big screen in the Level 3 South-East quadrant (near Gate 4) the vibrant open-air deck is presented in the American multinational beverage corporation Coca-Cola’s signature red. On select matchdays ‘The Pulse by Coca Cola’ will operate on select matchdays during Rounds 8-12. Exclusive access to ‘The Pulse’ includes a standing room ticket, pre-match and half-time food package and DJ entertainment and drinks for purchase via a dedicated bar.

At the all other Australian Football League (AFL – the pre-eminent professional competition of Australian Rules football) matches ‘The Pulse by Coca-Cola’ will open as a retail space accessible to all the standing room ticket holders reverting to a Marvel Stadium concession outlet while maintaining its high-energy atmosphere within the seating Bowl.

The Australian Rules football, also called Australian football or Aussie Rules or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. The points are scored by kicking the ovoid ball between the central goal posts (worth six points) or between a central and outer post (worth one point otherwise known as ‘behind’).

The launch of ‘The Pulse by Coca-Cola’ coincides with a new multiyear partnership extension between the Coca-Cola Euro Pacific Partners and the Marvel Stadium with the global beverage leader continuing as the Official Soft Drink, Water, Coffee, and Energy Drink Partner of the Marvel Stadium for the next five years.

‘The Pulse by Coca-Cola’ is one of several new offerings introduced as part of Marvel Stadium’s ongoing evolution as a 365-day-a-year entertainment destination. Beyond matchdays, the space will also be available for private bookings, functions and corporate hospitality offering a flexible and dynamic setting for both event and non-event day experiences.

Stated Scott Fitzgerald, Marvel Stadium General Manager (GM), “‘The Pulse by Coca-Cola’ is a bold step forward in how we bring sport, entertainment and event goers together at the Marvel Stadium. We know our fans are looking for more than just a ticket, they are after a premium and fun experience and that is exactly what ‘The Pulse’ delivers. We are committed to continually enhancing the atmosphere, energy and the overall experience for all our fans. ‘The Pulse’ is one of several new spaces introduced in 2026 as we continue to evolve as a year-round destination for live sport and entertainment.”

Pointed out Peta Webster, AFL General Manager (GM), Commercial, “We are very excited to continue our longstanding partnership with Coca-Cola at the Marvel Stadium for the next five years and ‘The Pulse by Coca-Cola’ is a great example of how we’re working together to deliver new and exciting experiences for the fans. Spaces like ‘The Pulse’ give the footy and the eventgoers another way to enjoy the gameday atmosphere at the stadium combining live sport, entertainment and premium hospitality to create a unique experience at the Marvel Stadium.”

Maintained Melissa Thompson, Coca-Cola Euro Pacific Partners’ General Manager (GM) of Market Activation and Sponsorships, “Sport is part of Australia’s cultural fabric. It’s where the communities come together and where so many shared moments are made. Having been part of Australian life for nearly 90 years we continue to back partnerships that celebrate those moments and enhance how the fans experience them. ‘The Pulse by Coca-Cola’ brings that to life as a new space built with the Marvel Stadium that fuses live sport and entertainment to give fans a vibrant place to watch and be part of the action.”
