Australia Jubilee Stadium naming rights Image: Netstrata Jubilee Stadium

The Georges River Council recently announced that the strata management company Network Strata Services Pty Limited (‘Netstrata’) will continue as the naming rights sponsor of the Jubilee Stadium in Carlton, Australia. The venue has had the same name since January 2019.

‘Georges River Council’ stated that a newly-signed contract means the name ‘Netstrata Jubilee Stadium’ will continue for a term of six (6) years. The announcement follows a tender process and a decision by the Council in December 2022 for the naming rights of the stadium.

The Georges River Council is a local Government area located in the St George region of Sydney located South of the central business district (CBD) in New South Wales (NSW), Australia. The Council was formed on May 12th, 2016 from the merger of the Kogarah City Council and the Hurstville City Council.

Carlton (Australia)-based Netstrata is a specialist Strata, Building Management Committee and Community Title management company with an impressive and established client base. The company specializes in the setup and management of the very best projects and strives to positively contribute to Sydney’s broader strata and community title property and housing landscape.

The 20,500-capacity Jubilee Stadium, also known as the Kogarah Oval or by its sponsored name – the Netstrata Jubilee Stadium – is a multipurpose stadium in Carlton, New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. The stadium is mainly used for rugby league and the A-League, and is one of the home grounds of the National Rugby League (NRL) team St. George Illawarra Dragons.

Said Nick Katris, the Georges River Council Mayor, “I am delighted to announce Netstrata, a locally-based company with a strong history in the Georges River area, as the naming rights sponsor of Netstrata Jubilee Stadium. We have had a great relationship with Netstrata and are looking forward to strengthening our partnership as the stadium continues being a sought-after venue for professional sports matches and elite training.”

‘Georges River Council’ further stated that the Netstrata Jubilee Stadium is running off the back of a jam-packed 2022 season, which saw the stadium play host to three sporting codes, including the National Rugby League (NRL) (Australasian rugby league club competition), Australian Football League (AFL) (a company operating the premier and fully professional competition of Australian Rules football) and A-Leagues.

In 2023, the Sydney FC A-Leagues women’s team returns, whilst the stadium will continue as the home ground for the St. George Illawarra Dragons in Sydney.

The venue will continue a strong relationship with Football Australia’s national team programs. The stadium will also continue to support community sporting group fixtures, including the NSW Rugby League and the District Junior Rugby League.

Stated Stephen Brell, Managing Director of Netstrata, “The Netstrata is proud to continue its sponsorship of the Jubilee Stadium, home of the Dragons and Sydney FC W-League. As a local business, it’s great to give back to our community through supporting the Georges River Council. We are looking forward to seeing you at the stadium.”

The Georges River Council looks forward to a positive partnership with Netstrata across the next six years as the Netstrata Jubilee Stadium continues to attract quality events.
