Nottingham Forest to launch new digital service Image: Nottingham Forest

The professional football club Nottingham Forest F.C. (UK) has launched a new digital service for supporters, including a new official club website, mobile app and streaming service.

‘Nottingham Forest’ stated that following extensive consultation and a tender process, the club will be working alongside Urban Zoo and StreamAMG to provide a cutting-edge digital offering to its fans irrespective of what his or her age may be.

Nottingham Forest Football Club, often referred to as Forest, is a professional football club based in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, England (UK). Founded in 1865, Forest has played home matches at the City Ground since 1898.

The City Ground is a football stadium in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, England, on the banks of the River Trent. It has been home to Nottingham Forest Football Club since 1898, and has 30,445 seats.

Warrington (UK)-based Urban Zoo is a sports technology company with extensive design and development experience in mobile, web, e-commerce, and fan engagement.

London (UK)-based StreamAMG builds exceptional streaming experiences and deliver to audiences worldwide with innovative technology and flexible solutions.

The club has requested all its supporters to register a brand new MyForest account. By registering on a MyForest account, fans will soon be able to access all their favorite online services, including live match streaming, ticketing, megastore, official club website, and the official app all within one account.

‘Nottingham Forest’ FC further stated that the service has initially been launched with access to website, app and streaming.

Fans accessing ‘MyForest’ online account means that he or she can manage all their favorite club products and services at the same time, while being able to keep abreast of latest news from The City Ground, receiving newsletter and email updates straight to their inbox.

If fans are registering/creating an account for someone else, they should ensure that they use a unique email address for each person so that he or she can buy/renew season cards, memberships or match tickets online in future, or watch streaming services separately in different locations.

To register the new account, he or she should visit https://myforest.nottinghamforest.co.uk/register

Supporters have been informed that although their existing iFollow subscriptions won’t show in the ‘subscriptions’ section of Forest TV, those subscriptions will be honored and supporters will receive voucher codes to give them access to the matches they have already paid for.

These three new digital services will replace those currently provided by the English Football League (EFL) and supporters currently subscribed to iFollow will shortly receive details from EFL Digital concerning the migration to Forest TV.

David Cook, Forest’s Chief Commercial Officer, said of the transition, “Enhancing the digital experience for supporters has been an important part of our commercial strategy over the last few years. After bedding in new ticketing and e-commerce technology, it was critical for us to develop a new website, app and streaming solution.”

Added Cook, “We will continue to enhance these new platforms over the summer to further strengthen our relationships with fans. The new single-sign-on feature will also allow fans to sync their web, ticketing and retail accounts to make it much easier to interact with the club.”
