Australia’s National Rugby League (NRL) Magic Round will light up Suncorp Stadium again in 2025 as 16 clubs converge on Brisbane.

NRL.com said that since its inception in 2019, Magic Round has become a highlight of the NRL season and 2025 will be no exception as every game in Round 9 is played at the home of Queensland rugby league.

The Sydney (Australia)-based NRL is a professional rugby league competition in Australasia which features clubs from New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, and New Zealand.

The 52,500-capacity Lang Park, also known as the Brisbane Football Stadium, by the sponsored name Suncorp Stadium, and nicknamed ‘The Cauldron’, is a multipurpose stadium in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, located in the suburb of Milton.

Under the management of ASM Global, the stadium has developed into an internationally acknowledged venue that now boasts four anchor tenants as well as hosting world class sporting events including Australia’s State of Origin Series and Rugby World Tests, along with a glittering line-up of concerts and entertainment events.

Los Angeles (US)-based ASM Global is the world’s leading producer of entertainment experiences. It is the global leader in venue and event strategy and management – delivering locally tailored solutions and cutting-edge technologies to achieve maximum results for venue owners.

Magic Round is being hosted at Suncorp Stadium through 2027.

NRL CEO Andrew Abdo said: “No other sport can compete with the unique week of entertainment offered by NRL Magic Round Brisbane.

“We are only scratching the surface of our vision to turn Magic Round into the number one total entertainment event of the sporting calendar.

“Bold visions can only work with great partners and we are excited to keep working with the Queensland Government and Brisbane City Council until 2027 to ensure NRL Magic Round keeps setting the benchmark for sports entertainment in the Pacific.”
