Work is progressing to accelerate the growth of grass in an open space in the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

A ‘New Saudi Projects Post on WhatsApp’ stated, “The stadium is unique in the sense that it is a closed venue with a retractable roof and can open and close based on the weather conditions. These roofs can be automated to respond to weather changes or can be controlled by a button.”

The Kingdom Arena is a 47-meter-tall, 220 by 150-meter indoor arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will have a capacity to hold 26,000 spectators and is expected to open in early 2024. The arena will be the new home of the Saudi Pro League team Al Hilal Saudi Football Club.

The arena was originally named the Boulevard Hall and was intended to be an entertainment center for various events. It was built in 60 days and meets internationally approved technical and artistic standards.

The ‘New Saudi Projects Post on WhatsApp’ further stated, “The facility which can accommodate more than 25,000 spectators also boasts 20 VIP cabins.”
