Sally Bae sails to AEG top post in Las Vegas

Sally Bae promoted to SVP of Global Partnerships Image: AEG

The entertainment company AEG announced the promotion of Sally Bae to the post of Senior Vice-President of Global Partnerships for AEG in Las Vegas (US), the company’s joint venture with MGM Resorts that oversees the T-Mobile Arena and the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

‘Celebrity Access’ stated that in her new role, she will take the lead on revenue generation for the T-Mobile Arena as well as the MGM Grand Garden Arena with a focus on securing and maintaining partners for both venues, including naming rights, founding partners and venue partners. She will also oversee the inventory of premium accommodations in the two arenas, including Bunker Suites, Loge Boxes, Terrace Tables, and Club Seats.

Los Angeles (US)-based the Anschutz Entertainment Group, also known as AEG Worldwide, is an American global sporting and music entertainment presenter and a subsidiary of The Anschutz Corporation. It is the world’s largest owner of sports teams and sports events.

MGM Resorts International is an American global hospitality and entertainment company operating destination resorts in Las Vegas, Massachusetts, Detroit, Mississippi, Maryland, and New Jersey, including Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, and Park MGM.

The 20,000-capacity T-Mobile Arena is a multipurpose indoor arena in Paradise, Nevada, US. Opened on April 6th, 2016, it is the home arena of the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL).

The MGM Grand Garden Arena is a 17,000-seat multipurpose arena located within the MGM Grand Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip in US.

‘Celebrity Access’ further stated that Bae will also oversee the business development at both arenas as well as the sales team and executives at T-Mobile Arena, monitoring and evaluating the Sales Department’s revenue and goals, leading budget decisions and accessing overall team and individual team member performances.

Sally Bae, who previously served as VP of Partnerships, will continue to be based out of T-Mobile Arena and will report to Goldstein.

She joined AEG eight years ago as the second hire at T-Mobile Arena, starting as Director of Premium and Service before being promoted to VP. Before joining AEG, she oversaw sales at luxury developments in Los Angeles, including The Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. LIVE.
