ISS Dome jetzt PSD Bank Dome Image: PSD Bank Dome

German arena ISS Dome in Düsseldorf (Germany) will be known as PSD Bank Dome going forward.

‘PSD Bank Dome’ stated that details of the agreement with the regional bank, which has its headquarters in Düsseldorf, weren’t disclosed.

Accompanying the name change is a renovation that increases the Dome’s capacity from 14,300 to 15,151, alongside a list of other additions and changes to the building’s look, particularly around its lighting design.

The visitor foyers received a complete makeover with new lighting concepts and newly designed concession stands. A new system has been installed for admission, show and intermission lighting.

Seventy square meters of LED screen have been added to the outdoor entrance area, and the arena interior has been fitted with over 50 illuminated digital displays for visitor information.

The LED lighting and media technology inside the venue is now connected via fiber optics infrastructure which allows for faster activation of media systems.

The modernization of PSD Bank Dome’s VIP areas includes a new reception area, business club and VIP boxes. The expanded backstage area boasts a rooms offering additional flexibility and is equipped with new lighting, ventilation and IT capacity.

Along with the building’s own capacity, parking capacity at the Dome has been increased to 2,300 spaces.

The building’s ventilation system with its high rate of fresh air replacement is “coronavirus-compliant”.

The ISS Dome (styled as ISS DOME) is a multiuse indoor arena in Düsseldorf, Germany, and opened in 2006. The arena has a capacity of 12,500 people and 13,400 people for hockey matches. It is used mostly for ice hockey matches as well as concerts. Its home team is the Düsseldorfer EG. The venue opened on September 2nd, 2006 in Düsseldorf and is one of the top 10 arenas in Germany. The indoor arena holds all major musical acts.

PSD Bank Rhein-Ruhr eG is an independent, regional cooperative bank which has a very service-oriented financial services model and has been in existence for almost 150 years. In 2021, PSD Bank Rhein-Ruhr was honored by the financial magazine ‘€uro’ as Germany’s most popular regional bank.

Düsseldorfer EG is a German professional ice hockey team in Düsseldorf. It was Germany’s most successful hockey club for a long time and boasted several international players.

Düsseldorf (Germany)-based D.LIVE offer the most diverse portfolio of live entertainment venues in Germany to agents, promoters, sport federations, and producers.

Apart from carrying the PSD Bank name inside and outside of the venue, the other naming rights entitlements include additional advertising space and visibility in the other D.LIVE venues. In addition, the naming rights deal also includes partnership with Sports City Düsseldorf. In addition, PSD Bank has been a premium partner of the anchor tenant Düsseldorfer EG (German professional ice hockey team) since 2014 and will remain so until at least 2026.
