Stadion Wrocław naming rights Image: Tarczyński Arena

Stadion Wrocław in Poland is now Tarczyński Arena Wrocław. This is the facility where the Polish football club Śląsk Wrocław plays its matches in the league on a daily basis.

The ‘Spark Chronicles’ stated that the naming rights deal has been struck for six years, and its value is PLN 14 million.

The Tarczyński Group which has lent its name to the arena is a corporate group of enterprises specializing in the meat industry. The Tarczyński Group handles the production, packaging and distribution of meat produce, specializing in pork and poultry, leading the Polish market in the sale of kabanos and cured meat.

The 43,302-capacity Tarczyński Arena Wrocław is a Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Category Four association football stadium which was built for the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship. The stadium sits in aleja Śląska in the district of Fabryczna, Wrocław, Poland.

Śląsk Wrocław is a Polish football club based in Wrocław that plays in Ekstraklasa, the highest level of the Polish football league system.

The ‘Spark Chronicles’ further stated that since the stadium’s official opening in 2011, the hunt for a title sponsor was on. After a decade, the naming rights deal has finally been struck.

Stated the Mayor of Wrocław, Jacek Sutryk, “The naming rights deal getting struck is a red-letter day for the City itself. The stadium is not only the home of football Silesia, but also a place where various events are held. There are a lot of added attractions in and around the venue.”

The Silesia football team is an informal regional football team made up of players from football clubs located in Silesia (Poland) under the auspices of the Silesian Football Association. It is not affiliated to FIFA, and does not play in official international matches.

The new logotype of the facility is a combination of the current logotype of Stadion Wrocław and the Tarczyński brand. The sponsor’s colors were taken into account while designing the logo.

A new logotype of the Tarczyński Arena will be placed on the façade of the facility. The interiors of the stadium and the stands will not undergo redecoration. The illuminated diaphragm will retain its pristine sheen and will continue to spark in riot of colors depending on the events taking place in the stadium.

Apart from getting the naming rights to the stadium and its visibility in the venue during events or even otherwise, the Tarczyński Group can also organize their own sporting and entertainment events in the stadium premises. The meat specialists will boast their own outlets in the arena with mouthwatering kabanos sausages, cold cuts, hot dogs, sausages, and protein snacks on offer to tickle foodies’ taste buds.

Tarczyński is a listed company operating in the meat and sausage industry. Its products are present in 30 countries around the globe.

Observation deck

The ‘Tarczyński Arena’ stated that the observation deck in the stadium is open seven days a week from 9 am to 4 pm.

From the observation deck, one can enter Stand D of the stadium and soak in the views of the lush lawns of the facility.

The ‘Tarczyński Arena’ further stated that access to the stadium terrace is not allowed on days when big-ticket events are held and also few days before the major act. Otherwise, one can spend hours together on the terrace. Parking facilities are available.
