Venue and event food and beverage specialist Freemans Event Partners has appointed Tara Warren as its new chief executive officer.

Punchline said Warren will lead the business, which provides food and drink and retail at some of the world’s most iconic sporting and cultural events, as it seeks to double turnover in the next five years.

Gloucester (UK)-based Freemans Event Partners is a family-owned business that has been supporting and enhancing the best events in the United Kingdom and Europe since 1975.

They are experts in multiservice event delivery bespoke to each event and venue. From building food and beverage villages to developing payment solutions and connectivity they cover every aspect of the event delivery to enhance the eventgoers’ experience.

Warren joins Freemans Event Partners following time as executive director at West Ham United. In her 16 years with the club, she played a central role in shaping one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports brands, including its move to the London Stadium.

She has also been closely involved in shaping the wider sports landscape, contributing to Premier League and Women’s Super League leadership groups.

She currently serves as a non-executive director at the British Horseracing Authority and sits on the newly formed Independent Football Regulator.

Warren said: “I am incredibly excited to join Freemans Event Partners at such an important moment in its journey.

“There is a huge opportunity to build on its strong 50-year legacy as the trusted partner of some of the world’s most iconic venues and events including Silverstone, Lord’s, Wembley Stadium, the Olympics and Ryder Cup and to continue to deepen and grow the relationships with our global partners from World Rugby to Coca-Cola.

“The solid foundations for Freemans Event Partners’ continued rapid growth are a remarkable testament to the strength of the brand, our people and partnerships.”

Stephen Freeman, executive chairman of Freemans Event Partners, said: “Last year marked 50 years of Freemans Event Partners, a proud milestone and a chance to reflect on how far we’ve come.

“Now, our focus is firmly on what’s next. We’re in a golden era for live events, where audiences expect more than ever, and that creates a real opportunity for us to step forward and deliver.

“We have a clear ambition to double the size of the business within five years, and Tara is exactly the leader we need to help us do that.

“Her experience, vision and understanding of fans and partners will be key as we continue to grow, evolve and make the most of the opportunities ahead.”
