The 2.Bundesliga (Germany) team SV Darmstadt 98 is chalking out ambitious and new hospitality concept to help it earn more revenue with the focus being on the main grandstand at its residence – Merck Stadium.

The ‘Darmstadt 98’ stated that the new hospitality concept has been presented to interested partners and sponsors. Once the VIP area is completed in late summer 2022, it will be able to pack in a crowd of 1,300 on gamedays.

Sportverein Darmstadt 1898 e.V. is a German football club based in Darmstadt, Hesse (Germany). The club was founded on May 22nd, 1898 as FC Olympia Darmstadt.

The Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor is a multiuse stadium in Darmstadt, Germany. It is currently used for football matches and is the home of SV Darmstadt 98 in the 2. Bundesliga. The stadium has a maximum capacity of 17,468 since its most recent renovation works.

The ‘Darmstadt 98’ further stated that the seats will be divided into circa 1,000 business seats and 20 boxes of approximately 30m2 with a total of 264 seats. The architectural concept of the new main stand is sure to take fans’ breath away and the spacious business area including the outdoor terrace and, for the first time, boxes in the Merck Stadium at the Böllenfalltor, will guarantee a magical and enchanting ambience for the spectators and will be bang for the buck for them.

Quality will be given highest priority by SV 98 while designing the said area. The hospitality areas will be so designed and constructed that it goes on to forge a strong relationship among the club, the football team and the City. Before going on to design the main area, the preliminary works will be carried out.

The initial drywall construction work has already been carried out in the basement. Work on making the structure tech-smart is presently on. The steel fitting work, glass façade work and roofing work on the second floor is all set to start soon.
