After selling out the first phase of the premium seating membership in three months, the National Football League (NFL) team Tennessee Titans will begin selling the second of three “waves” of premium seating options for the New Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee (US) in October.

‘THE TENNESSEAN’ stated that seating in the Titans’ Wave 2 sales phase will include all the remaining lower bowl seats, seats in the 200-level of the stadium and the midfield sections on either side of the terrace level. Wave 1 sold approximately 10 percent of the personal seat licenses (PSLs) at the new stadium in three months which is 2.5 times faster than anticipated, the team officials said.

The Tennessee Titans are a professional American football team based in Nashville, Tennessee (US). The Titans compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the American Football Conference South division. The Tennessee Titans play their home games at the Nissan Stadium and are building a new stadium construction of which started in 2024.

The 69,143-capacity Nissan Stadium is a multipurpose stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Owned by the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and the Davidson County, it is primarily used for football and is the home field of the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL).

The New Nissan Stadium is a domed American football stadium to be built in Nashville, Tennessee (US) for use by the Tennessee Titans succeeding the current Nissan Stadium beginning in 2027. The 60,000-seat stadium is projected to cost $2.1 billion, $1.26 billion of which is being subsidized by the public. The groundbreaking ceremony took place in February 2024.

A personal seat license, or PSL, is a paid license that entitles the holder the right to buy season tickets for a certain seat in a stadium. This holder can sell the seat license to someone else if they no longer wish to purchase the season tickets.

Exulted Adam Nuse, Titans’ Senior Vice-President, “We are thrilled to open up Wave 2 earlier than expected. Wave 2 features some of the best seats in the house, including our new Mosh Pit Section for the diehard fans.”

‘THE TENNESSEAN’ further stated that the team is introducing the Mosh Pit, billed as “the ultimate fan section for diehards who bleed two-tone blue” (strong loyalty and support for a particular sports team, often one). It will be located in the East Endzone surrounding a unique, in-bowl stage in the new stadium – which is scheduled to open in 2027.

Sightlines from the seats are the closest viewing experience to the field of any NFL stadium and 38 percent closer than the current Nissan Stadium seats, the Titans said.

The new stadium under construction will open for the 2027 season.

The Wave 1 sales were made up of two exclusive clubs – the 1960 Club and the Platinum Club which include luxury seating, seats within the 15-yard line in the lower bowl and all-inclusive food and beverages (F&Bs).

The current season ticket members who are in Wave 2 can expect to be contacted on a rolling basis to book their appointment to view the seating options at the Titans House (the preview center marketing the New Nissan Stadium), an “experience center” sales office with a 6-by-8 foot scale model of the new stadium.

But one can expect a bit of a wait to get their appointment booked.

Noted Nuse, “Because Wave 2 is much larger than Wave 1, it may take a bit of time to get everyone through Titans House. But all the current season ticket members in this wave will have the opportunity to come in to check out these new seating options.”

There may be a wait to get into the Titans House, but the New Nissan Stadium is looking to eliminate long wait times for the concessions and the restrooms.

The New Nissan Stadium will have twice the number of bathroom stalls and almost four times the current stadium’s people-movers like the elevators and the escalators.

The Members get extra perks including discounts on merchandise and concessions, padded seating and invitations to exclusive fan events. The reserved members will also have access to the 360-degree concourses and the expansive patio space throughout the stadium.

No deposits will be required to be placed on the standard access waitlist.

A stadium sales representative will reach out to the interested members on the waitlist after the current season ticket members and the priority access waitlist members have the opportunity to book their appointments.
