The National Football League (NFL) team Tennessee Titans recently announced that the Titans House, the New Nissan Stadium (Nashville, Tennessee, US) experience center, will open for a limited number of appointments in May and will fully open to the personal seat license (PSL) holders and the new Nissan Stadium waitlist members this Summer.

‘tennesseetitans.com’ stated that at the by-appointment-only center, built by the Brentwood (suburb of Nashville)-based Polk & Associates and assisted in design by Elevate, the current PSL holders and the New Nissan Stadium waitlist members will be guided through an immersive experience to learn about membership and seating options available in the new stadium.

The Tennessee Titans are a professional American football team based in Nashville, Tennessee (US). The Titans compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the American Football Conference South division. The Titans play their home games at the Nissan Stadium.

The 69,143-capacity Nissan Stadium is a multipurpose stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Owned by the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, it is primarily used for football and is the home field of the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL).

The New Nissan Stadium is a domed American football stadium and construction on the same started in Nashville, Tennessee (US) in February 2024. It will be the new home of the Tennessee Titans, succeeding the current Nissan Stadium, and is scheduled to open in 2027. The 60,000-seat stadium is projected to cost $2.1 billion, $1.26 billion of which is being subsidized by the public.

The current Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, will be demolished after the new Nissan Stadium, being constructed adjacent to it, opens in 2027.

Nashville (US)-based Polk & Associates Construction Inc. is a full-service construction firm specializing in Construction Management, General Contracting, Civil Construction, and Facilities Maintenance. They are a team of construction professionals who are experts in estimating, construction management, facilities operations, design-build, and construction processes, which enables the firm to provide services beyond the scope of a typical General Contractor.

A personal seat license, or PSL, is a paid license that entitles the holder the right to buy season tickets for a certain seat in a stadium. This holder can sell the seat license to someone else if they no longer wish to purchase the season tickets.

‘tennesseetitans.com’ further stated that sales for the new building will occur in a three-wave process. The Premier seat memberships, consisting of new, premium seating opportunities, will make up the first wave beginning this Summer. The Reserved seat memberships, which account for approximately 90 percent of the seating options, are expected to go on sale in two waves beginning in 2025. All seat memberships entitle the purchasers to secure specific seats in the new building for 30 years.

The current PSL holders will be contacted for appointments in Titans House on a rolling basis between 2024 and 2026. The order will be determined by the priority status, including the current stadium seat location, to ensure that the fans can be shown comparable locations in the new stadium when those areas go on sale. The New Nissan Stadium waitlist members will also be contacted during that timeframe when the product in which they expressed interest goes on sale.

Those interested in purchasing memberships in the new stadium must either be a current PSL holder or on the new Nissan Stadium waitlist and attend their appointment at the Titans House. The fans can join the waitlist at newnissanstadium.com.

The reserved seat memberships make up approximately 90 percent of PSLs in the building. The benefits of a reserved seat membership include:

Sightlines from seats that are 38 percent closer to the field than the current Nissan Stadium seats – the closest viewing experience to the field of any NFL stadium;
Discounts on merchandise and concessions;
Access to 360-degree concourses and expansive patio spaces; and
Invitations to fan events.

The Premier seat memberships are the most exclusive experiences in the building outside of suites and also the scarcest, representing just over 10 percent of the seating options available. As the only seating options available in the first wave of sales, the Premier seat memberships come with different levels of premium amenities, including:

Access to one of two members-only club lounges;
Seats positioned in the lower bowl within the 15-yard lines on either side of the field;
Luxury seating;
A dedicated entrance;
All-inclusive food and beverage options*;
Access to an annual team road game*; and
Exclusive, members-only events with team personnel*.

The Titans are the first NFL team to offer existing season ticket members a credit towards their PSL in a new building. Nearly 40 percent of all seat memberships are expected to be under $3,500, with over 30 different price points and experiences to choose from. More information can be found here.

All seat memberships allow the purchasers to make payments over time and the members will receive a 10 percent discount if they pay in full at the time of sale.

The new Nissan Stadium is scheduled to open in 2027. The Tennessee Builders Alliance (TBA), made up of the Nashville-based I.C.F. Builders, Brentwood-based Polk & Associates, the Turner Construction Company, and AECOM Hunt, is serving as the Construction Manager for the project. The design team is being led by the Architect of Record, TVS (an award-winning architecture and interior design firm headquartered in Atlanta, US) and the Lead Design Architect MANICA (an architecture firm based in Kansas City, US, that specializes in sports and entertainment venues). Hastings, a Nashville-based architecture firm, also participated in the design work as the concept phase Exterior Design Consultant. Twenty-four firms, including nine local businesses and 13 disadvantaged business enterprises, make up the architecture and engineering team.
