Global infrastructure specialist for live events, eps, has appointed Tom Bilsen as Chief Executive Officer of eps event holding as the company looks to further its expansion plans.

EPS said that with nearly three decades of experience in staging large-scale events, the company has earned a reputation for delivering cutting-edge site infrastructure to the world’s most iconic festivals, tours, and sporting events.

The appointment of Tom Bilsen marks a new chapter in eps’ global journey, with the strategic addition to the leadership team signalling a clear commitment to strengthening the group’s international growth and future readiness.

The company operates from Germany with an international network of subsidiaries and supports approximately 5,000 events each year.

Okan Tombulca, founder and Managing Director of eps said, “Tom knows the live business inside and out. He brings deep industry insight, operational excellence, and a global mindset.

“With Tom on board, we’re ready to take eps’ international presence to the next level.”

Sebastian Tobie, COO of eps event holding, added: “Bringing Tom into the leadership team is a logical step for securing eps’ next phase of growth. He knows our people, our products and our clients, and he brings deep experience in transformation, restructuring and the economics of the event rental business.”

Bilsen is no stranger to the live event world. He previously held senior leadership roles at Stageco, where he oversaw engineering, logistics, and budgeting for high-profile productions worldwide, as well as at Live Nation Belgium and others.

With his strong background in business transformation and deep understanding of rental-based event services, he’s ideally positioned to steer eps through its next phase of growth, the company said.

Bilsen said, “Joining eps as CEO is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of live event infrastructure on a global scale.

“The company’s reputation, energy, and talent are second to none. I look forward to working with our teams and partners around the world to create standout experiences and unlock new opportunities in every market we serve.”

As CEO, Bilsen will focus on driving operational strategy, advancing digital innovation, and leading international expansion – all in close collaboration with the existing leadership team.

With subsidiaries across Europe, North and South America, Australia and the Middle East, eps is uniquely positioned to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions across continents – from crowd control systems to ground and turf protection, site materials and entry systems.

Founded in 1996, eps is a trusted partner to the global live entertainment industry, delivering temporary flooring and drivable ground protection, GIGS stage barricades, line‑up gates and fencing, access and signage systems, and a full suite of site materials.

eps complements rental products with CAD drawings, project management and global touring logistics, supporting concerts, tours, festivals, sports and cultural events worldwide.
