Fenerbahçe publishes details for Ülker Stadium expansion Image: Fenerbahçe Istanbul

The Süper Lig team Fenerbahçe S.K. recently announced plans to renovate their home facility – the Ülker Stadium in Istanbul, Türkiye – and revealed images of the new-look venue.

‘EN.HABERLER.COM’ stated that the Fenerbahçe club’s High Advisory Board meeting was held at the Faruk Ilgaz Facilities in Istanbul recently. The meeting presented the renovation project of the Ülker Stadium and its new design to the yellow-navy blue (Fenerbahçe S.K. colors) community.

The Fenerbahçe S.K., commonly known simply as the Fenerbahçe or colloquially as Fener, is a football club based in Istanbul, Türkiye. They compete in the Süper Lig, the top division of the Turkish football league system.

The 47,430-capacity Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, known for sponsorship reasons as the Ülker Stadium Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex or simply the Ülker Stadium, is a football stadium located in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul, Türkiye.

The Faruk Ilgaz Facilities are primarily a social venue and event space associated with the Fenerbahçe S.K and hosts meetings, banquets, engagements, and wedding receptions as well as houses a restaurant and other amenities.

‘EN.HABERLER.COM’ further stated that the above venue will see a capacity rise.
