The Frankfurt am Main (Germany) is looking for a Venue Cluster Coordinator.

The Job

The ‘EURO 2024’ stated that the Venue Cluster Coordinator (m/f/d) will support the Venue Management team within the Venue Operations Unit with the planning and implementation of the overlay and onsite operations for Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) EURO 2024 at five venues. He/She will support the Venue Management team in their project management tasks and communication with all venue-related stakeholders such as the stadium representatives and internal project leaders.

List of Relevant Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Venue Management team with administrative and project management tasks related (but not limited) to a “cluster” of five venues;
  • Assisting the Venue Management team in the collection/production of content for various meetings/presentations/workshops;
  • Producing project reports/overviews requiring attention to detail, good German and English writing skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office programs;
  • Producing and distributing meeting agendas and taking meeting minutes;
  • Acting as a key information resource for all stakeholders with regards to questions and information relating to Venue Management and his/her assigned venue cluster;
  • Keeping track of changes to the overlay and liaising with the ‘Maps and Plans’ team for regular updates to the venue maps;
  • Coordinating the preparation and execution of various on-site working visits;
  • Support with the production of Venue Management manuals and training material used at a later stage to train the Venue Managers and the wider venue teams;
  • Monitoring in a proactive manner project deadlines;
  • Leading wider Venue Management projects; and
  • During the tournament, the Venue Cluster Coordinator will be based centrally, supporting Venue Management and venue teams from a tournament-wide perspective.

 

Education

University degree or equivalent

Project Management
 

Work Experience

  • 1-3 years experience in an administrative role in an international and multicultural environment; and
  • 1-2 years experience in working in a stadium/venue in an operational role.

 

Set of skills

  • Event management knowledge and experience;
  • Project management;
  • German (proficient);
  • English (proficient);
  • Any other language an asset;
  • Computer-literate: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; and
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
