Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s premier leisure and entertainment hub, lit up in solidarity with the people of India recently as the South Asian country faces a ‘tsunami’ of COVID-19 cases and body bags pile up by the day.

‘India TV’ stated that in view of the devastating COVID-19 situation in India, Yas Island displayed the flag of India on its grid shell light canopy as the former extended a message of hope and unity to India which is fighting a bitter battle against the virus variant.

‘India TV’ further stated that Yas Island is one of the world’s fastest growing leisure and entertainment destinations, located on the golden shores of Abu Dhabi – just 20 minutes from downtown Abu Dhabi and 50 minutes from Dubai.
