Ziggo Dome ‘dial’ Zigo for another 10 years

The Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and the telephone service company Ziggo are extending their collaboration.

‘vodafoneziggo.nl’ stated that since the opening of the Ziggo Dome in 2012, Ziggo has been connected with this Amsterdam concert location as the eponymous partner and the main sponsor. After a successful 10-year partnership, both parties have decided to remain connected for another 10. In the years ahead, they will not only continue their collaboration but enhance it.

The 17,000-capacity Ziggo Dome is an indoor arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands, located next to the 55,865-capacity Johan Cruijff ArenA. It is named after the Dutch cable TV provider Ziggo. In 2014, the Ziggo Dome Awards were announced, recognizing artistes who performed at the arena.

Ziggo Holding B.V. is the largest cable operator in the Netherlands, providing digital cable television, Internet and telephone service to both residential and commercial customers.

‘vodafoneziggo.nl’ further stated that Ziggo is expanding its customer program and, together with the Ziggo Dome, is establishing a fund to enable the staging of new concerts and innovative events in the coming years. These will include new music concepts such as ‘The Tribute – Live in Concert’ and special presentations of sporting events in the Ziggo Dome.

The Priority customer program, which was introduced last year for loyal Vodafone and Ziggo customers, will be given a more prominent role in the near future. For example, customers will be given priority when booking concert tickets for certain events, and will enjoy other benefits such as a special Priority entrance, their own cloakroom, or a complimentary drink upon arrival.

The Ziggo Dome and Ziggo will announce other new initiatives in the Autumn.
