The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) has announced that the 2024 CONMEBOL Sudamericana Final will be played at the General Pablo Rojas Stadium, known as the ‘ueno La Nueva Olla’, in the City of Asunción, Paraguay.

A ‘LinkedIn Post By CONMEBOL’ stated, “The match will take place on November 23rd and will crown the new champion of one of the most prestigious tournaments on the continent.”

The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) is the continental governing body of football in South America and it is one of FIFA’s six continental confederations. The oldest continental confederation in the world its headquarters are located in Luque, Paraguay.

The CONMEBOL Sudamericana, also known as the Copa Sudamericana, is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL, the governing body of football in South America since 2002. It is the second most prestigious club competition in South American football.

The 2024 Copa CONMEBOL Sudamericana is the 23rd edition of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana (also referred to as the Copa Sudamericana), South America’s secondary club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. The competition began on March 5th and is scheduled to end on November 23rd, 2024, with the final to be played in Asunción, Paraguay.

The 45,000-capacity General Pablo Rojas Stadium, locally known as the La Olla or La Nueva Olla and for sponsorship reasons known as the Estadio ueno La Nueva Olla, is a football stadium in the neighborhood of Barrio Obrero in Asunción, Paraguay.

The ‘LinkedIn Post By CONMEBOL’ further stated, “After a rigorous evaluation process the ‘ueno La Nueva Olla’ Stadium, home of the Club Cerro Porteño (a professional Paraguayan football club), has been selected for its modern infrastructure, its capacity to hold more than 45,000 spectators and its strategic location in Asunción, a City with extensive experience in the organization of international sporting events.”

“The ‘ueno La Nueva Olla’ has established itself as one of the most emblematic and modern stadiums in South America which makes it the ideal setting to hold a final of this magnitude. Details on the purchase of tickets for the CONMEBOL Sudamericana Final as well as the activities that are part of this great event will be published soon on the official CONMEBOL channels.”
