MATCH Hospitality – the company whose forte is management and sales of commercial hospitality programs for sporting extravaganzas – has vowed to take the guest experience at Silverstone to “the next level”.

A decision to this effect was taken after the Zurich-based company was appointed as the official hospitality partner for the British motorsport circuit Silverstone.

From the start of the 2020 motorsport calendar, MATCH will oversee the official hospitality portfolio of the circuit in Northamptonshire, England, across a range of events which includes Formula 1, MotoGP and the British Superbike races.

MATCH and Silverstone will work in tandem to provide corporate and individual customers crème de la crème and fresh variety of hospitality options. The offering will be for people across all segments of the society and they can savor enriching race day experiences.

F1’s British Grand Prix is annually hosted by Silverstone. A humongous crowd – more than 300,000 spectators attend the events in the British sporting calendar over the weekend.

For the 2020 version, MATCH will spruce up some of the track’s hospitality spaces with the sole objective of reaching out to a new audience both within the UK and overseas. This initiative of the hospitality major will add teeth to the exclusive Formula 1 Paddock Club for which MATCH Hospitality is an official distributor.

Said the Managing Director of Silverstone Circuit, Stuart Pringle, “MATCH Hospitality is an industry leader, with an incredible track record of delivering the very best sports hospitality products. This will take the hospitality offering at Silverstone to a standard befitting of a world class motorsport venue.”

The agency from Switzerland offers a slew of products for other world-class sporting events which includes the ATP Finals, while the FIFA World Cup Official Hospitality Program remains the company’s flagship product.

Jaime Byrom, Executive Chairman of MATCH Hospitality, stated, “MATCH Hospitality is excited to further develop our motorsport portfolio and we are very proud to be Silverstone Circuit’s official hospitality partner. We have some very ambitious plans – which will be announced over the coming months – to take the guest experience at Silverstone, ‘the home of British motorsport’, to the next level.”

Last month, another feather was added to Silverstone’s hat – it became the founding member of US sports and entertainment company Oak View Group’s (OVG) International Venue Alliance.
