Three candidates for Beach Soccer WC 2023 Image: FIFA

In line with the approved timeline for the bidding process of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2023™, FIFA has received bids from the following member-associations:

  • Bahrain Football Association
  • Seychelles Football Federation
  • United Arab Emirates Football Association

 
The ‘FIFA’ stated that as mentioned in the Bidding Process Overview, FIFA will review and assess the bids. A final decision on the host will be made later this year.

Zurich (Switzerland)-based FIFA is a non-profit organization that describes itself as an international governing body of association football, futsal and beach soccer. It is the highest governing body of association football.

The 2023 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup™ will be the 12th edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, the premier international beach soccer championship contested by the men’s national teams of the member-associations of FIFA.

The Bahrain Football Association is the governing body of football in Bahrain, and controls the Bahrain national football team. It was founded in 1957, and has been a member of FIFA since 1968. It is a member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

The Seychelles Football Federation is the governing body of football in the Seychelles (country in East Africa). The current President is Elvis Chetty and it was founded in 1980, and affiliated to FIFA and to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in 1986. It organizes the Seychelles First Division, the Seychelles FA Cup, the men’s national team, and the women’s national team.

The United Arab Emirates Football Association is the governing body of association football, beach soccer and futsal in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
