Sevilla FC appoints Legends Image: Sevilla FC

The Spanish professional football club Sevilla FC has commissioned the North American multinational company Legends to carry out a study, which is already underway, to decide on the club’s future stadium.

The ‘Sevilla FC’ stated that Legends is a leading company in the market for lines of business and advice for sports venues that, among others, has worked on projects for the 68,456-capacity Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, Spain, the 99,354-capacity Camp Nou Stadium in Barcelona, Spain, the remodeling of the 81,044-capacity Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain, the new 62,850-capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England (UK), as well as the 55,097-capacity Etihad Stadium in Manchester, England, as well as in a large number of projects in the United States.

The Sevilla Fútbol Club is a Spanish professional football club based in Seville, the capital and largest City of the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. It plays in Spanish football’s top flight, LaLiga. Sevilla at the European level have won the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Europa League six times, the most of any club.

The 43,883-capacity Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium is a football stadium in Seville, Spain. It is the home stadium of Sevilla Fútbol Club, and is named after the club’s former President, Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.

The ‘Sevilla FC’ further stated that the study will examine several feasible options – keeping the elements of their present home in their planned new venue. The LaLiga club wants their fans to have a say while planning the club’s future home ground. Legends will get in touch with few fans and few season ticket holders to take their pulse as to what features they would like included in the club’s new facility.

The fans and season ticket holders will have to mail their opinions and suggestions and their feedback will be given a lot of weightage when the club arrives at a final decision on the new stadium plans. The Sevilla FC feels that a concrete step will have to be taken as regards building a new arena and encouraged fans and season ticket holders to participate in a responsible manner in the entire exercise so that a concrete home can be built for the Sevilla.
