Eintracht Frankfurt and Deutsche Bank are continuing their long-term partnership with the bank continuing as naming rights holder for the Bundesliga club’s stadium.

Eintracht Frankfurt said the duo have extended the agreement for Deutsche Bank Park by eight years until 2035 and are further developing its content, with both sides sending a clear signal of continuity and reliability.

The new deal aligns the term with the existing stadium lease agreement with the City of Frankfurt. The financial terms of the deal were not revealed.

The 58,000-capacity Waldstadion, currently known as Deutsche Bank Park for sponsorship purposes, is a retractable roof sports stadium in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany. The home stadium of the football club Eintracht Frankfurt, it opened in 1925.

Eintracht Frankfurt e.V. is a German professional sports club based in Frankfurt, Hesse (Germany). It is best known for its football club, which was founded on March 8th, 1899. The club currently plays in the Bundesliga, the top tier of the German football league system.

Eintracht Frankfurt further stated that the deal extension creates security early on, and builds a strong foundation for the sustainable development of the most extensive cooperation in the club’s history in the coming years.

Eintracht Frankfurt CEO Axel Hellmann said, “The partnership with Deutsche Bank is special for us in many respects – it stands for trust, foresight, and shared values.

“This partnership forms a central foundation of our strategic development – economically, infrastructurally, and with regard to our ambitions in national and international competition.

“The early extension is a strong commitment to the region, to Frankfurt as a business location, and to the close connection between two strong brands. It has far-reaching implications and is crucial for Eintracht’s long-term direction.”

Eintracht Frankfurt and Deutsche Bank are among the leading institutions of the Rhine-Main region in Germany and have significant national and international relevance.

Both represent the economic, social, and cultural importance of Frankfurt as a financial center.

Eintracht Frankfurt added in a statement, “The partnership unites two complementary strengths: As a Bundesliga football club, Eintracht Frankfurt contributes, among other things, a high media reach, an emotional connection with fans and members, and a strong identification with the region.

Deutsche Bank enriches the collaboration as a leading German bank with global financial expertise and its formative role in the economy and society.
