Stephan Bandholz new Commercial MD of Eintracht Frankfurt Stadion GmbH Image: Stephan Bandholz

Stephan Bandholz will take over the position of Commercial Managing Director of Eintracht Frankfurt Stadion GmbH on January 1, 2026.

Eintracht Frankfurt Stadion said it is setting the course for the future as Bandolz succeeds Julien Zamberk, who has moved to the Executive Board of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG.

The 58,000-capacity Waldstadion, currently known as Deutsche Bank Park for sponsorship purposes, is a retractable roof sports stadium in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany. The home stadium of the football club Eintracht Frankfurt, it opened in 1925.

Eintracht Frankfurt e.V. is a German professional sports club based in Frankfurt, Hesse (Germany). It is best known for its football club, which was founded on March 8th, 1899. The club currently plays in the Bundesliga, the top tier of the German football league system.

Bandholz, 43, joins from 1. FSV Mainz 05 where he most recently served as Director of Arena Management and Sustainability.

There, his responsibilities included Arena Management, Security and Stewardship, and CSR & Sustainability.

As Commercial Managing Director in Frankfurt, he will be responsible for budget planning, business development, partner management, and accounting.

In this role, he will report directly to Chief Financial Officer Julien Zamberk.
