Its official: Super Bowl LVIII is headed to Las Vegas (US).

The ‘NFL’ stated that Raiders’ owner Mark Davis announced recently that the sport’s biggest spectacle will be held inside of the haute Allegiant Stadium, the home of the National Football League (NFL) team Las Vegas Raiders, on February 11th, 2024.

Super Bowl LVIII, the 58th Super Bowl and the 54th modern-era National Football League (NFL) championship game, will decide the league champion for the 2023 NFL season. The game is scheduled to be played on February 11th, 2024 at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada (US). The game will be televised nationally by Fox.

The Super Bowl is the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL). It has served as the final game of every NFL season since 1966, replacing the NFL Championship Game. Since 2004, the game has been played on the first Sunday in February.

The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league consisting of 32 teams, divided equally between the National Football Conference and the American Football Conference.

The 65,000-capacity Allegiant Stadium is a domed stadium located in Paradise, Nevada, United States. It serves as the home stadium for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Rebels college football team. It also serves as the home of the Las Vegas Bowl and the Vegas Kickoff Classic.

Davis said in a statement, “The Raiders are thrilled the National Football League has selected Las Vegas to host Super Bowl (58) LVIII in February 2024. Hosting the 2022 Pro Bowl. The 2022 NFL draft.. And now the 2024 Super Bowl are just some of the ancillary benefits resulting from the public-private partnership we created with the State of Nevada to bring the Raiders to Las Vegas and build Allegiant Stadium. It’s only the beginning.. But for now … Las Vegas … The Super Bowl is coming to the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World! But for now … Las Vegas … The Super Bowl is coming to the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World!”

The ‘NFL’ further stated that originally slated to take place at the 74,295-capacity Caesars Superdome in New Orleans (US), Super Bowl LVIII had previously been without a home after a scheduling conflict with Mardi Gras (a carnival held in New Orleans) prevented the NFL team New Orleans Saints’ home stadium from hosting until 2025. The decision set the stage for Allegiant Stadium to emerge as a frontrunner, 14 months later, the venue has now officially secured the league’s flagship event.

Plans are also in place for Allegiant Stadium to serve as the host site for the 2022 Pro Bowl (all-star game of the NFL), which will take place on February 6th, and the 2022 NFL Draft (April 28th-30th).

The National Football League Draft, also called the NFL Draft or the Player Selection Meeting, is an annual event which serves as the league’s most common source of player recruitment.
