EFL League Two club Bradford City AFC has picked Stadium Support Services as the club’s official projects partner.

Facilities Management Journal said the family-owned and operated facilities management company will play a key role in the continued enhancement of the University of Bradford Stadium.

Stadium Support Services will work alongside the Bantams to deliver sustainable, high-quality projects that will elevate the club’s infrastructure and help continue to create a welcoming environment for supporters and the community.

Bradford City AFC is an English professional football club based in Bradford, West Yorkshire (UK). The team compete in League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league.

The 25,136-capacity Valley Parade, known as the University of Bradford Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is an all-seater football stadium in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England (UK), and serves as the residence of Bradford City AFC.

The stadium has been Bradford City’s home of more than 120 years and has not had any major structural upgrades in almost a quarter of a century.

Bradford City said Stadium Support Services brings over 20 years of experience in facilities management across the sports, leisure and commercial property sectors.

With a focus on sustainability and fast-turnaround FM solutions, they are committed to supporting the club’s facilities and ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency and a positive impact on the local community.

Scott Hudson, managing director at Stadium Support Services, said, “For me, we must align strategically with organisations that share our values and ambitions.

“We have been genuinely impressed with the vision and culture at Bradford City AFC. As the official projects partner, we eagerly anticipate the many opportunities to collaborate and continue to create a stadium environment that benefits players, fans and the community alike.”

City’s chief commercial officer Davide Longo said, “We are thrilled to be welcoming Stadium Support Services on board as our newest principal partner.

“They are an impressive company who will be helping us in our continued efforts to make the University of Bradford Stadium a more pleasant, welcoming place for supporters.

“Having worked on some fantastic national stadia such as Wembley and Twickenham, they arrive with a wealth of experience and ability to do great things with us.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Scott and his team for their hard work and co-operation. I am looking forward to what will hopefully prove to be a long and successful relationship.”

Steven Mehta, account director at Stadium Support Services and a lifelong City supporter (above, left), added, “Overseeing this exciting new partnership is a dream come true.

“Our commitment to facilities management is driven by a genuine passion for supporting the club’s best interests.
