Kansas City Chiefs hosting world’s largest tailgate Image: Coliseum GSVA

The National Football League (NFL) team Kansas City Chiefs are inviting fans from across the globe to join in on ‘The World’s Largest Tailgate’ before the 2023 NFL Kickoff Game at their home venue – the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, US.

It will be a worldwide online tailgate to celebrate the kickoff of the NFL season.

‘kmbc.com’ stated that as the defending Super Bowl champions, the Chiefs open the 2023 season with their Week One game against their peer team the Detroit Lions on September 7th, 2023.

The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri, US. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference West division.

The 76,416-capacity GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium is an American football stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, US. It primarily serves as the home venue of the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL).

‘kmbc.com’ further stated that the team is going all-in with a massive celebration sponsored by Bud Light.

The World’s Largest Tailgate is, “A virtual tailgate and concert experience hosted live from the Ford Tailgate District outside the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium and streamed to mobile devices, living rooms, restaurants, bars, and fan clubs in Chiefs Kingdom and around the globe.”

Kansas City-born YouTube stars, the Merrell Twins, are set to host the event. The show will feature American DJ and producer duo Two Friends, as well as segments with Saturday Night Live’s Heidi Gardner, influencer Tabitha Swatosh and appearances by Donna ‘Mama’ Kelce.

The Chiefs legends and other special guests will make an appearance at the 90-minute show, which begins at 4:30-6 pm CT.
