As per the latest amendments in Government health and safety measures, the motorsport venues of Dubai Autodrome and Dubai Kartdrome have rolled out enhanced activities for the public to enjoy in a very much ‘sanitized environment’.

The Dubai Autodrome is an FIA sanctioned 5.39 km motorsports circuit located in Dubailand, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In June, the popular Roll Racing DXB, which takes drag racing off the streets and into a safe, controlled environment, returned to Dubai Autodrome which is now upgraded as a ‘Drive-Thru’ event, which makes it feasible for drivers to stay in their cars from beginning to end of the track activities.

Formula DXB Max is a new single-seater experience. It will provide a delightful and thrilling experience to guests of driving the challenging 2.46-kilometer Club Circuit at Dubai Autodrome. Drivers can also jump into a selection of Supercar experiences which will return this month, including activities for Ferrari GT, McLaren Sprint and the Renault Clio Cup Race Car.

The bouquet of activities has also been expanded once again by the Dubai Kartdrome, including the new Drift Karting Club, which introduces specially-prepared Drift Karts on the outdoor circuit for the first time. Guests will have a stupendous experience of drifting karts sideways around corners of the track.

With restrictions on age eased, younger drivers are now allowed back to Dubai Kartdrome, with the Indoor Circuit welcoming all guests aged seven and above. The air-conditioned facility offers indoor karting, laser tag and sim racing.

Drive-thru Car Track Days, Drive-Thru Roll Racing DXB, Formula DXB Max Supercar Experiences and Circuit Hire are the list of activities currently available on the Main Track at Dubai Autodrome.

The list of activities presently available at Dubai Kartdrome are – Outdoor Kartdrome New World Karting (ages 13 and above), Outdoor Kartdrome Drift Karting Club (ages 13 and up), Outdoor Kartdrome Iron Man Practice Sessions (ages 13 and up), Outdoor Kartdrome Kart Owner Sessions (ages 13 and up), Indoor Karting (ages seven and up), Lasertag (ages seven and up), Sim Racing (ages seven and up), and Karting Tuition (ages seven and up).

All new activities have been designed keeping in mind enhanced customer journeys, which include: online-only booking, customer flow paths that make certain that guests do not cross paths during the activity journey, signage and floor markings to maintain social distance, disposable gloves and balaclavas, hand sanitizer stations, temperature check stations, helmets that have been sterilized using medical-grade sanitizing equipment (the same as used in UAE hospitals) and race suits that are continuously laundry-sanitized.

Keeping the safety quotient uppermost in mind, the cleaned and disinfected helmets and race suits are wrapped in plastic exclusively for each guest, ensuring that they are receiving fresh race gear for their exhilarating experience.

More adrenaline rush activities are planned in the coming months, including Track Days for Motorcycles, Drift DXB, more Driving Experiences and Sodi World Series (SWS) karting sprint races.
