Most Innovative Brand 2012 and 2013

Elan was awarded the prestigious title of the ‘Most Innovative Brand’, conferred by the German organisation Plus X Award, in two consecutive years in 2012 and 2013. The brands distinguished by this award are chosen for their outstanding achievements in the areas of quality, design, ease of use, functionality, ergonomics and ecology. Receiving this award has gone on to validate Elan’s vision to position itself as the ‘numero uno’ name in sporting goods innovation.

  • Telescopic stands, dividing curtains, and basketball backstops are tested for compliance with EN and DIN standards by accredited TÜV testing laboratories.
  • FIBA Technical partner in the category of telescopic stands and basketball backstops. Ceiling- and wall-mounted basketball goals conform to all FIBA standards.

A successful decade for Elan Inventa

Elan Inventa has always risen to the challenge posed by large projects, and in the process created a quantum of works, some of which are no less than making history. Some of the key highlights from the last decades include:

2003 – Provides sports equipment for the Sports Hall in Celje, Slovenia, a European Handball Championship venue and the first of the company’s large-scale projects.

2004 – Supplies and installs equipment at three sports halls hosting the European Handball Championship in Slovenia.

2005 – Supplies and installs equipment for two Eurobasket sports arenas in Serbia and Montenegro.

2008 – Supplies and installs equipment for the new sports arena hosting the European Handball Championship in Macedonia.

2009 – Supplies and installs equipment for three arenas hosting the World Handball Championship in Croatia.

2011 – Supplies and installs equipment for two sports arena hosting the World Handball Championship in Sweden.

2013 – Develops an innovative telescopic stand system, TransFlex, for a sports arena in Leipzig.

2013 – Provides and installs five sports halls in Slovenia hosting Eurobasket 2013.

 
Eurobasket 2013

The renovation and fitting out of sports halls for EuroBasket 2013, which was held in September 2013 in Slovenia, were undertaken by Elan Inventa. The five venues welcomed Europe’s 24 top national teams, which competed for the prestigious title of EuroBasket Champion from September 4 to 24 2013.

 
Thrice in a row at Handball World Championships

Elan Inventa first supplied IHF-certified handball goals for the Women’s Handball World Championship, which was held in Brazil in December 2011. A year later, in January 2013, a special series of superior-quality handball goals was made for the Men’s World Championship which was held in Spain. The product is made to all highest standards, is IHF certified, and, for this special occasion, was featured in the Spain’s typical yellow-red colour scheme. In December 2013, girls were also presented with an opportunity to test Elan Inventa’s handball goals at the World Championship in Serbia.
