Emirates score its fourth ‘Grand Slam’ as the airline announces a multiyear partnership with one of the most prestigious tennis events in the world – The Championships, Wimbledon (UK).

‘emirates.com’ stated that as the Official Airline Partner of The Championships, Wimbledon – Emirates will take the world of tennis to new heights with exciting activations onground. The Championships is set to take place from July 1st-14th, 2024 at The All England Lawn Tennis Club.

Emirates are one of the two flag carriers of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Based in Garhoud, Dubai, the airline is a subsidiary of The Emirates Group, which is owned by the Government of Dubai’s Investment Corporation of Dubai.

The Championships, Wimbledon (UK) is the oldest of the four tennis Grand Slams and the only one played on grass. Managed by The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) and staged on the AELTC Grounds. It is best known as the venue for the Wimbledon Championships, the only Grand Slam tennis event still held on grass.

Championing ‘Force for Good’ Initiatives

Emirates and Wimbledon will also join forces to support social impact initiatives across the United Kingdom. Under the partnership, a multimillion pound ‘Force for Good’ fund will be created to support and promote initiatives that positively impact the society and support the local communities. Further details on this fund will be announced during 2024.
