A pair of special glasses, pajamas, an armchair, munching popcorns, and wearing a carefree attitude – and football fiends will be transported to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain.

‘MARCA’ stated that if talks between the American technology company Apple and the LaLiga team Real Madrid CF (Spain) come to fruition then the football buffs will be able to feel the ambience of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium right in their living rooms. They will, in fact, be able to look- and-feel the above facility through these glasses and the whole experience has been termed the ‘Infinite Santiago Bernabéu’! And they will also be able to almost watch live the Real Madrid players in-the-thick-of action.

Tickets to the Real Madrid CF games sell like hot cakes and it is not possible for the top-flight to accommodate all the football fans in the stadium.

The Real Madrid CF is a Spanish professional football club based in Madrid, Spain. The club competes in the LaLiga, the top tier of Spanish football.

The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is a retractable roof football stadium in Madrid, Spain. With a seating capacity of 84,744, the stadium has the second-largest seating capacity for a football stadium in Spain. It has been the home stadium of the Real Madrid CF since its completion in 1947.

The Apple Inc. is an American multinational corporation and technology company headquartered and incorporated in Cupertino, California, in Silicon Valley. It is best known for its consumer electronics, software and services.

‘MARCA’ further stated that it has come to the notice of few Members that few season ticket holders are reselling their tickets. Reselling of tickets is strictly prohibited by the top-notch club. The club is looking for legal ways to stop the practice of sale of season tickets by few ticket holders who do it in exchange for a clear business deal. Such members when caught are penalized but still they do not stop the practice.

The President of Real Madrid CF, Florentino Pérez, is in talks with Apple to implement the ‘Infinite Santiago Bernabéu’.

Pointed out Pérez, “It’s a problem. Everyone wants to come to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium to watch the matchups live but that is not possible. This is why we are in talks with Apple to bring out special glasses wearing which the fans will feel they are right in the middle of the pitch action – in the stadium – and all from the comfy surroundings of their living rooms. This way we can also put a stop to the unfair practices of few season ticket holders.”

Wearing the glasses will give the football buffs a feeling that they are watching a live match in the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Experiencing the pitch action up, close and live from the living rooms!
