Denver Broncos has teamed up with Aramark – the team’s new food and beverage provider – to make modifications at Empower Field at Mile High.

The duo is trying to raise the bar when it comes to fan experience – existing concession stands are being refurbished, fan-friendly technology is being introduced to provide speedy service and the menu is being upgraded offering lot of options and variety.

Stadium General Manager, Empower Field at Mile High, Jay Roberts, stated, “Empower Field at Mile High is constantly looking for ways to improve the fan experience, and we are confident that with Aramark as our concessionaire we can modernize how fans enjoy food and beverages at our stadium events. We are also thrilled to debut several newly renovated concessions stands which is the first step in a multi-year process to improve speed of service while also adding more variety to the menu.”

Jay Morrison, District Manager, Aramark’s Sports & Entertainment division, remarked, “We’re excited to expand our partnership with the Broncos and undertake this transformation of Empower Field at Mile High’s dining experience. We have a long, proud history of serving Denverites and, with our close ties to the community and knowledge of the local food scene, I’m confident we will deliver an innovative, dynamic and engaging food and beverage experience for everyone attending events at the stadium.”

Broncos’ fans, as well as guests attending concert, festival and other sporting events will be greeted with many enhanced and novel concepts, offerings and amenities. Select concession stands on the 100, 300 and 500 levels of the stadium have been totally spruced up and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Redesigned menu boards and reconfigured speed lines will give a shot in the arm to the ordering and transaction processes.

CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY

Self-Checkout Scanners

In the entire length and breadth of the stadium, latest Mashgin artificial intelligence (AI) self-checkout scanners have been deployed. Whatever fans desire to purchase, they can place on the Mashgin unit where they are scanned simultaneously for quick payment thus increasing quality of service as well as speed.

Self-Service Kiosks

At a touch of the screen, supporters can pay for their order at the self-ordering kiosks. These kiosks have been set up at select locations (Sections 103, 122). Touch screen technology is facilitating fans to fully customize and pay for their order.

Point of Purchase

A brand new point of purchase system is the highlight of Empower Field at Mile High. To boost the ordering and payment process, Apple Pay has been included.

Handheld Credit Card Readers

To make payment with credit card a smooth affair for visitors, over half the in-seat vendors have been provided with handheld credit card reader technology.

‘Smart’ Order

Fans will be able to order through their smartphones with the help of a new mobile ordering solution, Tapin2. Food and beverage will be delivered to their seats. This facility will be available for United Club Level in-seat service.

NEW CONCESSIONS CONCEPTS

Fan Favorites

The new Favs@MH (Section 123) will leave fans spoilt for choice – hot dogs, City Pop popcorn, nachos, and beverages. The Mashgin artificial intelligence (AI) scanners facilitate self-checkout and help fans to make speedy transactions. However, to buy alcoholic beverages, valid ID is still required.

Self-Service Beverage Market

Fans will have an array of beverages to choose from the The Drink MKT (Sections 116, 124, 321, 510 and 528). It is an express, self-service beverage market so designed to reduce waiting time and offer a wide variety of choices when it comes to beverages to quench the parched throat.

The beverage market will offer items such as Gold Peak iced tea, Classic or Diet Coke, Dasani Sparkling water, Vitamin Water, Bud or Bud Platinum, Breckenridge United in Orange or Bumps n Jumps, Bon & Viv spiked seltzer, Cutwater canned cocktails, select wine by the bottle or assorted grab-and-go snacks. To buy alcoholic beverages, one has to carry a valid ID.

Mashgin artificial intelligence (AI) self-checkout scanners will be used to get fans in and back to their seats quickly.

Concessions Concept

A new self-order concessions concept is Tenders Love and Chicken (Sections 103, 122). As part of this concept, fans can tickle their taste buds with home style-breaded chicken tenders, wings and a variety of sauces, and ranch-seasoned, hand-tossed fries.

Walkup Bar

Denver Cocktail Co (Section 124) is a new walkup bar offering mixed drinks and beer.
