The ‘Houston Dynamo FC’ stated that Hess will sponsor a five-week Learn and Play summer program with Dynamo Charities for 50 children in the Third Ward neighborhoods that features soccer programing led by coaches from the Dynamo Youth Programs. Participants will learn about the science of sports and receive a free ticket to either a Dynamo or Dash game.

The ‘Houston Dynamo FC’ further stated that the two organizations are also launching a new annual awards program called the ‘Learning for Life Achievement Awards’ to celebrate students from each of the 22 schools in the Second Ward, Magnolia Park and Third Ward neighborhoods that Hess supports for outstanding academic achievement, overcoming hardships, community service, and strength of character and achievements.

Stated Greg Hill, President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Hess Corporation, “Our company has a proud history of social investment programs that make a positive and lasting impact on the communities where we operate. This new partnership with the Dynamo strengthens our Hess Learning for Life education program by providing children in our neighborhood with fun, engaging opportunities to learn, grow and be inspired by world-class professionals from our organizations.”

Each student honoree will be invited to a ‘Learning for Life’ Achievement Awards dinner jointly hosted by Dynamo Charities and Hess. As a reward for their hard work and commitment to learning, they will receive four tickets to the regular season match of their choice and get recognized on screen.
