Huffman to shape OVG procurement strategy

The American professional sports company Oak View Group (OVG) has announced the appointment of Donna Freislinger Huffman as the Senior Vice-President (SVP) of Global Procurement.

‘CELEBRITY ACCESS’ stated that in her new role Huffman will lead the company’s procurement efforts focusing on cost-savings to support the commercial operations, maintaining key supplier relationships and developing the localized and regional sourcing strategies. She will report to Ade Patton, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Josh Pell, President of Premium Experiences and Global Strategy at OVG.

The Oak View Group (OVG), LLC is an American professional sports and commercial real estate company based in Denver (US). It manages several sports venues, including the 18,300-capacity Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, which was constructed under the company’s supervision.

‘CELEBRITY ACCESS’ further stated that Huffman brings more than two decades of procurement leadership experience to the position having held senior roles at a diverse range of organizations including the Vanderbilt University (a private research university in Nashville, Tennessee) and the United Airlines (major airline in the United States based in Chicago).

Pointed out Patton, “Donna’s experience and proven track record in transforming sourcing organizations and driving enterprise-wide value is exactly what the OVG needs as we aggressively expand our global portfolio and set the standard for operations, services and solutions in our industry.”

Added Pell, “We’re excited to continue evolving our global procurement strategy as we consistently raise the bar for quality and service while enhancing the food and beverage (F&B) experience for the guests we serve at the venues around the world.”
