On August 5th, the National Football League (NFL) team Kansas City Chiefs and the Government Employees Health Association (G.E.H.A) jointly announced that beginning with the 2026 NFL season the home of the Kansas City Chiefs will once again be known simply as the Arrowhead Stadium.

‘chiefs.com’ stated that the Government Employees Health Association (G.E.H.A) remains a proud partner of the Kansas City Chiefs spearheading numerous programs including the Chiefs Military Mission presented by G.E.H.A which supports the active-duty Service Members, the veterans and their families. The program’s year-round initiatives include the military base visits, the holiday outreach, the military appreciation day at the training camp, and support of the club’s annual Salute to Service game.

The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri (US). The Chiefs compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a Member of the American Football Conference (AFC) West Division.

The 76,416-seat Arrowhead Stadium is an American football stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. It primarily serves as the home venue of the National Football League (NFL) team Kansas City Chiefs.

Missouri (US)-based the Government Employees Health Association (G.E.H.A) is an American self-insured, not-for-profit association providing medical and dental plans to the federal employees and the retirees and their families through the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) program and the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP).

‘Shared Commitment’

We are thrilled to continue working with G.E.H.A on all of the key community, military and veteran-focused programs that they have helped us bring to life over the years.”

‘chiefs.com’ further stated that in addition to the Chiefs Military Mission G.E.H.A will continue to support the numerous other club programs. This includes the Joe Delaney Learn to Swim Program in conjunction with the Hunt Family Foundation and the Greater Kansas City Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA), the annual TeamSmile dental care and dental education event, the Kingdom Kids program, the free fan club open to children aged 12 and under, and the annual Kingdom Kids Wonderland event at the Arrowhead Stadium.
