Live Nation is expanding its presence in Chile by becoming the majority stakeholder in Movistar Arena Santiago.

Live Nation said the partnership prioritizes fans and artists and will reinforce the country’s role as a key touring hub in Latin America.

The global entertainment giant said it has plans to enhance the fan experience, boost production capabilities, and grow opportunities for both global and Chilean talent while preserving the venue’s local identity.

Live Nation’s new partnership with BeLive Entertainment Group makes it a majority stakeholder in Movistar Arena Santiago, strengthening one of Chile’s most important venues for fans and artists.

Movistar Arena is a 15,500-seat multi-purpose indoor arena in Santiago, Chile. It is located inside O’Higgins Park, in downtown Santiago. Its main structure was built in 1956, but it remained unfinished and without a roof, until the roof was installed in 2000.

Movistar Arena is a cornerstone of the region’s live music ecosystem. The 15,000-capacity venue hosts more than 170 shows a year and welcomes over a million fans across global tours, regional acts, and Chilean talent.

As one of South America’s busiest and most in-demand arenas, it anchors Santiago’s position as a key touring hub.

Working closely with BeLive’s local leadership, Live Nation will focus on improving the fan experience, strengthening production capabilities, and expanding opportunities for global acts and local talent performances at the venue.

Live Nation says the arena’s identity and deep local ties will remain central to all plans.

Live Nation CEO and President Michael Rapino said, “Latin America is one of the most vibrant live music regions in the world, and Chile is a critical stop for artists touring the continent.

“Partnering with BeLive allows us to strengthen what already works, bring in more great shows, and continue growing the live experience for fans across the region.”

Daniel Hiller, CEO of BeLive Entertainment Group, said, “This partnership marks an important new chapter for Movistar Arena.

Live Nation’s global expertise, combined with the arena’s deep connection to Chilean audiences, will help us continue delivering world-class experiences for some of the most passionate fans anywhere.

“This allows us to elevate our programming, expand opportunities for artists and fans, and ensure the venue remains a regional benchmark for years to come.”
