Local companies flavor to Rhode Island FC

The upcoming American professional soccer club Rhode Island FC announced recently that two companies with headquarters in Rhode Island (US) – the Hilb Group and Automated Business Solutions (ABS) – have become Official Partners of the USL Championship expansion club.

‘Rhode Island FC’ stated that as Official Partners, both companies will receive Rhode Island FC marketing assets to positively impact their businesses and further cement their positions in the community.

The Rhode Island FC is an upcoming American professional soccer club located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island (US). The club is planned to debut in the USL Championship in 2024.

The USL Championship is a professional men’s soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. The USL is sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation as a Division II league since 2017, placing it under Major League Soccer (MLS) in the hierarchy. The USL is headquartered in Tampa, Florida.

The Rhode Island FC will play their inaugural 2024 season at Bryant University’s Beirne Stadium.

The 4,400-capacity Beirne Stadium is a stadium in Smithfield, Rhode Island (US). It is the home stadium for the Bryant University college football and men’s and women’s lacrosse programs. The Beirne Stadium will also host the USL Championship club Rhode Island FC during their inaugural 2024 season.

The Rhode Island FC’s 10,500-capacity home venue – the Tidewater Landing Stadium on the banks of the Seekonk River – is projected to be complete in the Spring of 2024.
