Ambassador Cruise new partner of London Stadium Image: London Stadium

London Stadium and Ambassador Cruise Line announced on February 13th a new multiyear partnership that will see the premium value cruise line promoted across the venue’s multiuse calendar of sporting, musical and cultural events, including Premier League football, Major League Baseball (MLB), international athletics, world-class concerts, and much more.

‘London Stadium’ stated that with its base close to London Stadium at its home port of London Tilbury, the Ambassador was a natural fit to align with the iconic East London venue. The cruise line, which has provided the “warmest welcome at sea” since sailing for the first time in May 2022, offers a wide range of premium value, no-fly cruise experiences to cater to all types of traveler, specializing in itineraries for the over-50s market alongside a selection of multigenerational sailings for all the family to enjoy. It currently operates one ship, ‘Ambience’, with a second vessel, ‘Ambition’, due to enter service from May 2023.

The 66,000-capacity London Stadium is a multipurpose outdoor stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in the Stratford district of London (UK). It is located in the Lower Lea Valley, six miles East of Central London.

Ambassador Cruise Line is a British cruise line headquartered in Purfleet, Essex, United Kingdom. The company launched and announced the purchase of their flagship ‘Ambience’ in May 2021 and commenced sales to the public in the following month.

‘London Stadium’ further stated that with shared values of inspiring and entertaining, the partnership between Ambassador and the London Stadium will bring together two brands committed to building the best experience for all their guests.

In addition, both organizations will promote the joint goal of improving sustainability across their operations, from the local East London community to the places visited across the globe, to reduce the impact on the environment and deliver the best possible service.

Averred Graham Gilmore, CEO of London Stadium, “We pride ourselves on being at the heart of the community here in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, while delivering incredible moments for all those that attend our events. This partnership mirrors these values, locally based, with a global reach, providing special memories for their guests. We are incredibly excited to add Ambassador Cruise Line to our increasing roster of Stadium Partners and look forward to working closely with them on this journey.”

Enthused Gordon Nardini, CMO, Ambassador Cruise Line, “We are delighted to be named official partner of London Stadium, the iconic East London venue located a short distance from our home port of London Tilbury. As an up-and-coming, premium-value cruise line, the partnership offers us the perfect platform to showcase our brand to the many millions of people that pass through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park every year. Ambassador Cruise Line shares the same values and community spirit as the London Stadium, and we look forward to working with them to support growth in the East End, while providing exclusive offers and discounts to their members, fans and our fellow partners.”
