Lexus partners with Intuit Dome Image: Coliseum GSVA

As the National Basketball Association (NBA) team Los Angeles Clippers prepare to open their new home – the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California (US) – in August, the team has announced the luxury automotive brand, Lexus, as an Intuit Dome Founding Partner.

‘LEXUS NEWSROOM’ stated that as one of its longest-tenured partners, Lexus will be named “the official luxury vehicle of the LA Clippers and Intuit Dome”, receiving entitlement of the Lexus Courtside Lounge at the new arena.

The Los Angeles Clippers are an American professional basketball team based in Los Angeles (US). The Clippers compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference.

The 20,000-capacity Crypto.com Arena is a multipurpose indoor arena in Downtown Los Angeles (US). The main attraction of the L.A. Live development, it is located next to the Los Angeles Convention Center complex along the Figueroa Street. It serves as the home ground of the NBA team Los Angeles Clippers.

The 39,000-capacity Los Angeles Convention Center is a convention center in the Southwest section of the downtown core of Los Angeles, California, United States. It hosts multiple annual conventions and has often been used as a filming location in TV shows and movies.

The L.A. Live is a sports and entertainment district in downtown Los Angeles. It includes a 54-story hotel and condominium tower, concert theaters, bars, restaurants, movie theaters, a bowling alley, a museum, and a nightclub. The L.A. Live is also the host of the GRAMMYs, EMMYs, American Music Awards, and ESPYs (an award show that recognizes the best athletes and sports performances of the year).

The 18,000-capacity Intuit Dome is an arena under construction in Inglewood, California, United States. Located South of the 70,000-capacity SoFi Stadium, it will be the home of the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA), who will be moving from the Crypto.com Arena.

Opening in August 2024, the Intuit Dome will host hundreds of sporting events and concerts each year. Located in Inglewood, California, the Intuit Dome is built different – it will redefine fans’ expectations for live experiences and change the music landscape in Los Angeles.

‘LEXUS NEWSROOM’ further stated that the Lexus Courtside Lounge will provide an exclusive, high-end hospitality experience for the floor seat holders at all Intuit Dome events, including Clippers games and concerts. It is designed by the internationally renowned interior designer Rita Konig (London-based designer), whose expertise has earned her AD100 (an annual list of the top interior, architectural and landscape design professionals in the world), House & Garden’s Top 100 (an annual list of the top interior designers and architects in the United Kingdom) and ELLE DÉCOR’S A-List (an annual list of the most stylish, influential and innovative interior designers from around the world) honors.

Konig’s custom concept for the space includes the unique, layered finishes she is known for, such as fabric walling and using mirrors and brass finishes reflecting light around the space and creating intrigue and glamor.

The lounge features an all-inclusive premium food and beverage program, plus a pathway through the center of the space that the Clippers players will use to take the floor.

Lexus will receive prominent presence in other areas of the Intuit Dome as well, including a vehicle display in the Main Lobby and entitlement of the South VIP Entrance. The integrations continue across the team and arena’s digital and broadcast outlets through popular partnership elements like Lexus Looks player fashion content, the Lexus Dinner Series and the premium hospitality experiences.

Lexus joins naming rights partner the American multinational business software company Intuit and the American multinational telecommunications holding company AT&T, Pechanga, and Ticketmaster as the Intuit Dome Founding Partners.

The Intuit Dome’s key features include five basketball courts, an outdoor plaza, 51 uninterrupted rows of seats near the visitor’s bench called ‘The Wall’, and the largest-ever double-sided Halo Board ever in an arena.
