Significant advancements have been achieved across various aspects of the New Nissan Stadium (Nashville, Tennessee, US) project in December 2024 showcasing steady progress as the National Football League (NFL) team Tennessee Titans stadium gradually come to life.

The Tennessee Titans are a professional American football team based in Nashville, Tennessee (US). The Titans compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the American Football Conference South Division.

Coliseum Summit US will be hosted June 25+26 in Nashville.

The 69,143-capacity Nissan Stadium is a multipurpose stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Owned by the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County it is primarily used for football and is the home field of the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL).

The 60,000-capacity New Nissan Stadium is a domed American football stadium under construction in Nashville, Tennessee (US) for use by the NFL team Tennessee Titans succeeding the current Nissan Stadium beginning in 2027.
 

Structural Work

‘newnissanstadium.com’ stated that the cooling tower well has reached a major milestone with the completion of its cast-in-place walls paving the way for waterproofing and backfill activities to commence. Similarly, the Southeast cistern walls are now complete! The New Nissan Stadium will have two large cisterns that can store 400,000 gallons of water between the two of them and they’ll play a huge role in the sustainability efforts to efficiently reuse water.

Speaking of completing projects…all of the foundation work is now fully complete! Progress on the concrete columns has been robust with continued work on the Field, Plaza, 100, Suite, Stair Core, and 200 Levels ensuring the structural framework remains on schedule. Additionally, the elevated concrete decks on the West, North, South, East sides are advancing steadily with construction now underway across multiple levels of the stadium. It is now almost a full 360 degree connection on the Plaza Level!
 

Ongoing and Upcoming Activities

‘newnissanstadium.com’ further stated that framing, forming and reinforcing for planned concrete pours are progressing seamlessly with multiple pours completed in December 2024. Meanwhile, the underground Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems continue to take shape with electrical installations moving forward in the North, South and East quadrants while plumbing efforts are ongoing in the West, East and North quadrants.

The added activities have now kicked off to ramp up the interior rough-in and build-out of the stadium while the structure moves vertically. The interior wall layout and with the starting top track for stud walls have started to get laid out on the Field Level. This also includes the start of the first lifts of the Masonry walls being installed as well on the Field Level that will form many of the walls on the stair and the elevator cores.

The key infrastructure installations including storm, sewer and water systems are actively progressing on the North and South sides of the project. Also, the forming of the Terrace Level deck has commenced in the West of the stadium.

There are so many exciting construction milestones to look forward to in 2025! The first pieces of the precast stadium bowl will start to be set and erected in late January…truly bringing the future seating area to life. There will be 2,400 total pieces of precast stadia and approximately 20 pieces will be set per day until the bowl is complete. The first steel is expected to be set in the first week of February!
