NTT racing to vroom alive Arlington streets

Three championship organizations are uniting to bring a Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation (NTT) INDYCAR SERIES race to the streets of Arlington, Texas (US).

The above event will take place in March 2026. Specific dates will be announced at a later date.

‘Globe Life Field’ stated that the sports and entertainment company Penske Entertainment, the National Football League (NFL) team Dallas Cowboys and the industry leader in content generation REV Entertainment, the official events partner of the Major League Baseball (MLB) team Texas Rangers, have announced a first-of-its-kind joint venture to establish and operate the INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington with the initial race set for March 2026.

The Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation (NTT) is a Japanese telecommunications holding company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

The IndyCar Series, currently known as the NTT INDYCAR SERIES for sponsorship reasons, is the highest class of American open-wheel car racing in the United States which has been conducted under the auspices of various sanctioning bodies since 1920 after two initial attempts in 1905 and 1916. It’s a highly competitive series with drivers from over 11 countries taking part. The races take place on a variety of tracks including superspeedways, short ovals, road courses, and street courses.

‘Globe Life Field’ further stated that the 2.73-mile track layout will weave through Arlington’s Entertainment District and feature two iconic sporting venues recognized by fans around the world: The 80,000-capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and the 40,300-capacity Globe Life Field also in Arlington, Texas. The event will provide the City of Arlington and its organizers a national network television showcase with FOX (American commercial broadcast television network) set to provide live coverage through its recently unveiled partnership with INDYCAR.

The IndyCar, LLC (stylized as INDYCAR), is an auto racing sanctioning body for American open-wheel car racing and is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The INDYCAR Grand Prix of Arlington will provide a full weekend of racing and entertainment with general admission, reserved seating, VIP hospitality, and party zone areas available. The fans can register their interest by visiting the newly launched website by clicking Here.
