Real Madrid most valuable football club Image: Real Madrid

For the second consecutive year, the LaLiga club Real Madrid CF (Spain) is the most valuable football club in the world with a value of 6.070 billion dollars, according to the American business magazine Forbes.

‘Real Madrid’ stated that the prestigious publication states in its report that the Real Madrid CF has achieved a 19 percent increase in value compared to last year.

The Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, commonly referred to as Real Madrid, is a Spanish professional football club based in Madrid (Spain) who has been playing in LaLiga (the men’s top professional football division of the Spanish football league system) since 1929. Founded in 1902 as the Madrid Football Club, the club has traditionally worn a white home kit since its inception.

The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is a football stadium in Madrid, Spain. With a current seating capacity of 81,044, it has the second-largest capacity in Spain, and it has been the home stadium of Real Madrid since its completion in 1947.

Forbes is an American business magazine (based in Jersey City, New Jersey, US) owned by the Integrated Whale Media Investments and the Forbes family. Published eight times a year, it features articles on finance, industry, investing, and marketing topics. Forbes Media is known for its magazine and lists that rank everything from billionaires to colleges.

‘Real Madrid’ further stated that Forbes also highlights the revenues generated by Real Madrid as a result of its sporting successes, such as winning five of the last nine Champions League finals, and the partnership signed with Sixth Street and Legends for elevating the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

The Board of Directors of Real Madrid CF at its meeting held on May 18th ratified an agreement with Sixth Street, an investment firm with extensive experience in sports and infrastructure, and Legends, a premium experiences company for sports and live venue organizations, with the objective of elevating their home arena – the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium – as a unique venue and a worldwide benchmark for leisure and entertainment.
