Fans wishing to enjoy a sauna and hot bath while watching the first games at the Japanese professional baseball team Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters’ soon-to-be-opened new home ground, Es Con Field Hokkaido in Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido, Japan, can now enter a lottery to obtain tickets, the Pacific League club announced recently.

‘Kyodo News’ stated that the new ballpark boasts a retractable roof to shield the game from Hokkaido’s frigid Winters and snowy weather and includes a tower in the left field complete with a hotel and spa, where patrons can view the game in style.

The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters are a Japanese professional baseball team based in Kitahiroshima, Hokkaidō, Japan. They compete in the Pacific League of Nippon Professional Baseball, and will soon be playing their home games at the Es Con Field Hokkaido in Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido, Japan. Presently, they play their games at the 42,270-capacity Sapporo Dome in Sapporo, Japan.

The 35,000-capacity Es Con Field Hokkaido is a baseball stadium located in Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido, Japan. The ballpark is owned and operated by Nippon Ham, and will serve as the residence of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters of Nippon Professional Baseball (highest level of baseball in Japan) once it open its doors on March 14th, 2023.

The Pacific League or Pa League is one of the two professional baseball leagues constituting the Nippon Professional Baseball in Japan.

‘Kyodo News’ further stated that the Fighters will play their first regular-season game at the Es Con Field Hokkaido on March 30th, 2023 against the Pacific League team Rakuten Eagles, a day ahead of Nippon Professional Baseball’s five other home openers.

The lottery for spa admission and hotel reservations for the first four days of the upcoming season can be found on the team’s website.

Field-view hotel rooms for the first three game days range from 132,000 yen ($1,029) up to 165,000 yen for a suite.
