The 2. Bundesliga team SV Darmstadt 98 recently installed the new main stand in their home pitch – the Merck Stadium at the Böllenfalltor in Darmstadt, Germany – and the same was put into operation.

‘SV Darmstadt 98’ stated that the ENTEGA VIP lounge, comprising the business and box area, was opened in time for the club’s home game against its peer team 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

The SV Darmstadt 98 is a German association football club based in Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany. The club was founded on May 22nd, 1898 as FC Olympia Darmstadt. It plays in 2. Bundesliga and the Merck Stadium at the Böllenfalltor serve as its residence.

The Merck Stadium at the Böllenfalltor is a multiuse stadium in Darmstadt, Germany. It is currently used for football matches and is the home of SV Darmstadt 98 of the 2. Bundesliga. The stadium has a maximum capacity of 17,468 since its most recent renovation works.

Large-scale renovation work of the Merck Stadium at the Böllenfalltor was carried out and it is indeed a “milestone moment” for the club. What was once a dilapidated structure has been transformed into a spiffy soccer stadium. Work was done on the training pitches, construction of the new youth academy, the office, and the entire arena. And finally makeover work of the stadium per se.

Darmstadt, Hesse (Germany)-based ENTEGA provides utility services. The company is into generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, natural gas, water, and heat, as well as waste disposal, construction, telecommunications, and other infrastructure services. ENTEGA serves customers in Germany.

‘SV Darmstadt 98’ further stated that the above fixture was attended by few political representatives and the main sponsors.

The club is looking forward to all other events that will take place in the new main grandstand in the coming months.
