Staff reshuffle at Las Vegas Raiders Image: Las Vegas Raiders

The National Football League (NFL) team Las Vegas Raiders has announced two hires and two promotions to their executive leadership team recently.

‘si.com’ stated that these positions will work with the Raiders President Sandra Douglass Morgan to help dictate the future of one of the NFL’s oldest franchises.

New York (US)-based the National Football League is a professional American football league that consists of 32 teams, divided equally between the American Football Conference and the National Football Conference.

The Las Vegas Raiders are a professional American football team based in the Las Vegas metropolitan area (US). The Raiders compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference West division.

The 65,000-capacity Allegiant Stadium is a domed stadium located in Paradise, Nevada (US). It is the home stadium for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL).

Kristen Banks

Kristen Banks will serve as the Raiders’ Senior Vice-President of Marketing. She has prior experience as the Vice-President, Digital Products at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Manager, Consumer Brand Marketing at the Universal Orlando Resort.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is an American mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion company based in Las Vegas, Nevada (US). It is owned and operated by Zuffa, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Endeavor Group Holdings. It is the largest MMA promotion in the world as of 2022.

The Endeavor Group Holdings, Inc. is an American holding company for talent and media agencies with its primary offices in Beverly Hills, California, United States. The company was founded in April 2009 after the merger of the William Morris Agency and the original Endeavor Talent Agency.
 

Heather DeSanto

Heather DeSanto has been promoted to the Raiders’ Senior Vice- President of Human Resources position.

An expert of human resources for 25-plus years, DeSanto has previously served as the Vice-President of Human Resources for The Venetian and the Vice-President of Human Resources at the Marina Bay Sands.

The 7,100-capacity Venetian Las Vegas is a luxury hotel and casino resort located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, United States.

The Marina Bay Sands is an integrated resort fronting Marina Bay in Singapore and a landmark of the City. At its opening in 2010, it was deemed the world’s most expensive standalone casino property at S$8 billion (US$6.88 billion).
 

Mike Newquist

Mike Newquist has been named the Raiders’ Senior Vice-President, Chief Operating Officer (COO).

He has 30 years of leadership experience including roles such as the President, Touring Shows Division at the Cirque Du Soleil Entertainment Group and as the Senior Vice-President, Event Development at the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Endeavor.

The Cirque du Soleil is a Canadian entertainment company and the largest contemporary circus producer in the world. Located in the inner-City area of Saint-Michel in Quebec, Canada, it was founded in Baie-Saint-Paul on June 16th, 1984 by the former street performers Guy Laliberté and Gilles Ste-Croix.
 

Piper Overstreet-White

Piper Overstreet-White has been promoted to the post of Senior Vice-President of Government and Community Relations.

She previously was the Partner and President of Government Affairs at the Griffin Company.

Carson, Nevada (US)-based the Griffin Company is a public policy and Government affairs consulting firm focused on Nevada-based issues on behalf of its clients. The firm and its affiliates provide guidance on Government affairs and public policy matters at the local and State levels, in addition to Federal matters tied to the State of Nevada and its Congressional Delegation.

Overstreet-White is familiar with the Las Vegas area, having earned a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
