UBS Arena – New York’s (US) next premier entertainment and sports venue and future home of the National Hockey League (NHL) team New York Islanders – announced on April 20th that it is on track to sell out its premium club inventory this summer. With just a few months before the arena opens this Fall, the demand for premium continues to surge across the Tri-State area (an informal term in the Eastern contiguous United States for any of several regions associated with a particular town or metropolis that, with adjacent suburbs, lies across three States. Some of these involve a State boundary tripoint).

In this case, the Tri-State Region, commonly referred to as the greater New York (City) area, is made up of three States: New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ) and Connecticut (CT).

‘UBS Arena’ stated 80 percent of UBS Arena’s club spaces and premium suite inventory has been taken up for the inaugural 2021-2022 seasons, including the entire inventory of the 1905 Club, one of the arena’s marquee premium clubs.

The 1905 Club is the exclusive lounge for enjoying the ultimate VIP experience for a concert or game at UBS Arena. Visitors can sip on curated cocktails and soak in the atmosphere inspired by the iconic New York bars and clubs.

The 19,000-capacity UBS Arena is a $1.5 billion multipurpose arena under construction and development in Elmont, New York (US), next to the Belmont Park race track. The venue is projected to open for the 2021-2022 NHL seasons and will serve as the new residence of the New York Islanders.

The New York Islanders are a professional ice hockey team based in Uniondale, New York. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the East Division. The team plays its home games at Nassau Coliseum.

The 14,500-capacity Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, also known as simply the Nassau Coliseum, is a multipurpose indoor arena in Uniondale, New York, East of New York City.

‘The UBS Arena’ quoted Adam Campbell, Senior Vice-President, Premium Sales, UBS Arena, as stating, “The demand for premium inventory we’re seeing reinforces the immense desire that companies, their executives, clients and fans have for experiencing live events again. The response from the Long Island community, in particular, has been tremendous.”

Apart from the support which the Long Island community has extended, there has been impressive demand from the greater Metro New York area, including from Westchester and Fairfield Counties. The central location of the venue works to its advantage as it offers more accessibility to fans across the Tri-State area than ever before. In addition to a rideshare drop-off/pick up area and MTA bus stop, UBS Arena will boast the first new Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) station in nearly 50 years, with various direct lines from Penn Station and Atlantic Terminal and direct service from Grand Central Terminal upon completion of the East Side Access project.

Through its premium suites and clubs, UBS Arena will offer unmatched boutique hospitality. The amenities, hospitality and premium offerings that will be available to fans at UBS Arena are currently on display at the venue’s dedicated Preview Club space in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, open to current sales prospects on an appointment-only basis.

  • The Spotlight Club: With glass walls surrounding its sides, the Spotlight Club offers the ultimate behind-the-scenes access, providing guests an up close view of the home and away teams as they come on and off of the ice.
  • Spotlight Suites: With an upholstered lounge area and dedicated mixologist, the Spotlight Suites serve as a private cocktail club just at shouting distance from the front row seats, merging premium hospitality with the center of the action.
  • Belmont Suites: Offering the ultimate luxury experience, the Belmont Suites feature a custom-designed minibar with bottle storage, premium stadium seats and the latest in-suite technology.

UBS Arena suite holders will be given the opportunity to customize their offerings, tailored toward their specific needs and level of comfort.
