Valencia Basket epicurean delight for fans

València 5 Estrellas, the management company which is monitoring the new arena work of the Spanish professional basketball team Valencia Basket – Casal España Arena de València – has signed an agreement with Miguel Martí Gastronomia for looking into the gastronomic side of the under-construction venue.

‘Licampa 1617’ stated that Miguel Martí is one of the most recognized chefs at the national level in Spain. His company Miguel Martí Gastronomy excels in catering for social events.

The Casal España Arena de València is a multipurpose indoor arena planned to open in 2024 in Valencia, Spain. The arena is being funded by Spanish billionaire businessman Juan Roig, who created the company Licampa 1617 SL to implement the entire development. The inauguration of the above arena will be delayed from 2023 to 2024.

The venue is expected to have a capacity of 15,600 for basketball fixtures and 18,600 for concerts. It will also come armed with circa 1,300 parking spaces. Construction work started on June 29^th, 2020.

Valencia Basket Club S.A.D., commonly known as Valencia Basket, is a professional basketball team based in Valencia, Spain. The team plays in the Liga ACB and the EuroLeague, with home games played at the Pavelló Municipal Font de Sant Lluís. The club is sponsored by the Spanish billionaire Juan Roig.

The Pavelló Municipal Font de Sant Lluís is an indoor arena that is located in Valencia, Spain. Built in 1983, it is primarily used for basketball games, and it is the home arena of the Spanish Liga ACB club Valencia Basket. The arena has a seating capacity of 9,000 people. The Casal España Arena de València will be a replacement for Pavelló Municipal Font de Sant Lluís.

‘Licampa 1617’ further stated that Miguel Martí Gastronomy caters to El Telar de Miguel Martí Finca del Canónigo (wedding venue in Valencia, Spain), La Ópera Benicàssim, Masía Les Casotes (Castelló) or the El Ceramista restaurant integrated into the 23,500-capacity Estadio de la Cerámica in Villarreal, Spain, residence of Villarreal CF of LaLiga.

Apart from looking into the gastronomic management of the above spaces, Miguel Martí is a renowned organizer and collaborator of restaurant events which has created quite a wave such as the recent Gala of the Michelin Guide Spain and Portugal 2022.

The City of Valencia was chosen to host the presentation gala of the Michelin Guide Spain and Portugal 2022 and the event took place on December 14^th, 2021 at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (opera house). The gala presented the new selection of restaurants distinguished with a star.
