Community board visits Allegiant Stadium Image: Allegiant Stadium

Allegiant Stadium (US) created its first Community Advisory Board and welcomed Board Members to the stadium for a tour. Spearheaded by Allegiant Stadium’s Community Affairs Department, the purpose of the Community Advisory Board is to assist Allegiant Stadium in the creation of programs and initiatives that will positively impact disadvantaged youth in Las Vegas and its surrounding areas.

The ‘Allegiant Stadium’ stated that Members will collaborate with the Allegiant Stadium Community Affairs Department to understand the needs of the Las Vegas community and provide creative insight into the development and implementation of its community programs and events.

Members of the Board are volunteers who share a knowledge and passion for the Las Vegas community. They are experts in the areas of education, workforce and career development, community outreach, public policy, entrepreneurship, and more.
 

Core team:

  • Chris Wright – General Manager, Allegiant Stadium;
  • Neumiia Duncan-Reed – Director of Human Resources and Community Affairs, Allegiant Stadium; and
  • Katrina Dorsey – Community Affairs Manager, Allegiant Stadium.

 

Board Members:

  • Myisha Boyce (Board Chair) – President and Managing Member, MYS LLC;
  • Ashanti Lewis – Director of West Las Vegas Promise Neighborhood and Community Relations, Nevada Partners;
  • Evan Louie – Community Advisory Board Member;
  • Dr. Lisa Morris Hibbler – Chief Community Services Officer, City of Las Vegas;
  • Jeff Saling – Co-Founder & Executive Director, StartUpNV; and
  • Terrence Thornton – Executive Director, Special Olympics, Nevada.

 
The ‘Allegiant Stadium’ further stated that the ‘Death Star’ is committed to being an active and visible member of the Las Vegas community.

Located adjacent to the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, Allegiant Stadium is a global events destination and the newest state-of-the-art entertainment venue in Las Vegas (US). It serves as the home stadium for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL) and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Rebels college football team and is ideally located for both visitors and locals. The technologically advanced stadium is fully enclosed and climate-controlled with a capacity of up to 65,000.
