Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich (Germany) has been given the green light to use their home facility – Allianz Arena – to full capacity just after the upcoming international break. However, the same comes with riders for fans.

The ‘kicker’ stated that the prerequisite for fans to enter stadia is a 2G or 3G Plus regulation, which requires a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test to be submitted by those who have not got shots in their arms or who have not recovered from the dreaded virus – COVID-19.

The international break is the period of time set aside by FIFA for scheduled international matches per their International Match Calendar. It is also known as FIFA International Day/Date(s).

FC Bayern is a German professional sports club based in Munich, Bavaria (Germany). It is best known for its professional football team, which plays in the Bundesliga, the top tier of the German football league system. Bayern is the most successful club in German football history, having won a record 31 national titles, including nine consecutively since 2013, and 20 national cups, along with numerous European honors.

The Allianz Arena is a football stadium in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, with a 70,000 seating capacity for international matches and 75,000 for domestic matches. Widely known for its exterior of inflated ETFE plastic panels, it is the first stadium in the world with a full color changing exterior.

The ‘kicker’ further stated that as per a Cabinet decision taken on October 4th, the cap on fan attendance capacity for events in the German State of Bavaria has been lifted and venues can all boast full houses. The regulation applies to all sports clubs in the State too. Fans will no longer be required to wear face coverings and social distancing rules need not be adhered to. However, spectators must stick to the above riders.
