The Mexican professional football team Mazatlán F.C. owner Ricardo Salinas Pliego announced not very long back that the Liga MX team home ground – the Estadio de Mazatlán in Mexico – will undergo a name change.

‘euro.ES Euro’ stated that on October 25th, the stadium was renamed the Estadio El Encanto after the Mazatlán F.C. signed an alliance agreement with a local company dedicated to the construction of houses – Encanto Desarrollos. With this change in moniker, the ‘El Kraken’ nickname of the stadium has been left behind which was quite popular among fans.

The Mazatlán Futbol Club is a Mexican professional football team based in Mazatlán, Sinaloa (Mexico) currently playing in Liga MX, the top professional football division in Mexico. The club was established in June 2020 after the Monarcas Morelia franchise announced that it would be moving to the City of Mazatlán.

The Estadio El Encanto is a football stadium located in the City of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. It was inaugurated in 2020 and has a capacity of approximately 25,000. The stadium is the home of Mazatlán F.C.

‘euro.ES Euro’ further stated that this is the first commercial naming rights deal signed by the top-flight. The Estadio El Encanto recently hosted a game of the Mexican national football team.

The Mexico national football team represents Mexico in international football and is governed by the Mexican Football Federation. It competes as a member of the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf).

Mexico has qualified for 17 World Cups and has qualified consecutively since 1994, making it one of the six countries to do so.

Toluca (Mexico)-based the Mexican Football Federation is the governing body of association football in Mexico. It administers the Mexico national team, the Liga MX and all affiliated amateur sectors, and controls promoting, organizing, directing, expanding, and supervising competitive football in Mexico.

Miami (US)-based the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football, abbreviated as Concacaf, is one of FIFA’s six continental governing bodies for association football.

The real estate agency Encanto Desarrollo which has struck a naming rights deal with the top-notch club is based in the City of Mazatlán and has carved a niche for itself in the real estate sector in the Mexican State of Sinaloa. The company has generated thousands of jobs in Mazatlán.
